Chapter 154

(Jade's P.O.V)
Matt and I talked until I had to leave. He told me about what has happened at the house while I was away. Nothing really happened except Kian getting a new tattoo.
I got into Zoey's car and sat in the front with her and Alfie sat in the back since he had Nala. It didn't take long to get to the park. Louise was already there wit Darcy and Joe. I got out of the car and Darcy ran to us. (For those who don't know, Darcy is Louise's daughter.)
Darcy hugged my legs and I picked her up. She squeezed me and squealed.
"I've missed you!" She said in her cute toddler voice.
"I've missed you too Darcy." I set her down and she ran to Zoey and Alfie.
Joe came over to me smiling.
"You look lovely today." He smiled.
"Thanks Joe. You're not looking bad yourself." I smiled back.
Joe wrapped his arm around my shoulders and I wrapped mine around his torso. We began to walk behind everybody else.
"Did you sleep well?" The British boy asked.
"Not really. I kept tossing and turning and getting up. I got up and got a glass of water and went outside on the back porch so I didn't bother anyone at one point." I said.
"Aw. I'm sorry. You can crash at my place sometime while you're here if you want." Joe smiled.
"I would love that. Maybe like Zoey and Alfie and Taylor could come along too but only if you'd want them too." I said.
"That would be awesome. When Caspar is away sometimes, it gets lonely." Joe said.
"I'd totally keep you company." I said.
"And I'd totally enjoy that." Joe replied.
We smiled at each other and continued walking. Taylor was up with Alfie and Nala, Darcy was running around, and Zoey was chatting with Louise. We all found a few benches to sit down at and sat down. I sat next to Joe and laid my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and we chatted with everybody. Alfie had Nala's long leash so she could run a bit farther.
"We should all sleep at one of our flats tonight." Zoey said.
"That sounds fun. We could sleep at mine. I don't have anything to do tomorrow." Joe said.
"I have to take Darcy shopping tomorrow so I can't." Louise said.
"No worries! We'll hang out more." Alfie said.
"So it's just me, Alfie, Jade, and Taylor coming over correct?" Zoey asked Joe.
"It appears so." Joe said.

A few hours later we left the park and dropped Nala off and Alfie's parents' place so we could go to an arcade. The arcade was about 15 minutes away from the park. Zoey and Alfie sat in the front, Joe sat in the back behind Zoey, and Louise drove in her car. I had to sit in the middle in the back right next to Taylor. He kept looking at me.
"Why do you keep looking at me?" I whispered.
The radio was up pretty loud so no one could hear Taylor and I.
"I'm sorry for snapping on you okay?" Taylor said.
"You snap on me a lot and I'm sick of it. I always come running back to you a few days later and this time, I'm going to see how it goes." I said.
"Well it doesn't help that you keep hanging around that Joe guy. I see you guys flirting and I hate it." Taylor said.
"Well maybe if you hadn't been such a dick to me about it, I wouldn't be as mad. Joe is one of my best friends. Nothing will change that." I said.
"You obviously like him Jade." Taylor said.
"And so what if I do. What will you do?" I narrowed my eyebrows at Taylor.
"Remember what I'm capable of." Taylor growled in my ear.
"You wouldn't dare to hurt him because you know that if you did I'd never forgive you. You've hurt so any of my close friends because of your jealousy and I hate it." I said.
"Maybe you shouldn't go mess around with other guys then." Taylor said.
"You're kidding me right? You've messed with other girls more than I have Taylor and I'm fucking sick of it." I said.
Just as I said that we pulled up to the arcade. I quickly got out of the car with Joe chasing after me. No one else seemed to notice that I was upset.
"Jade, what happened?" I didn't stop walking.
I was really upset. I'm so sick of Taylor playing these games. It's a constant battle between us two but I still love him. I don't know what to do.
"Gorgeous, tell me what's wrong." Joe sweetly said and grabbed my hand.
I stopped and Joe turned me around. I had tears in my eyes and Joe's face softened.
"Was it Taylor?" Joe asked and I nodded.
"Come here." Joe grabbed my wrists lightly and pulled me to him.
I laid my head on his chest and took a deep breath.
"It's going to be okay love. Let's go have some fun okay?" Joe said and I nodded.
We pulled away and walked inside to join everybody else. They were waiting inside for us. They didn't buy any tokens for the games yet though. When Joe and I walked in, we each got a cup full of tokens since it was a big arcade and began to play games. Joe and I ran off to go play some games together. Joe sat down on some seat to play a game and I stood to watch him.
"Come sit down." Joe said.
"There's only one seat though." I said.
Joe lightly grabbed my wrist and pulled me onto his lap. I love how gentle Joe is now because of my past with cutting and almost getting raped. He put his head on my shoulder and put his arms on my waist.
"You play the game." Joe said.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Positive." Joe smiled.
It was some game like slots, where there's 3 spinning wheels and you click 3 buttons to stop them and try to get them all matching. I watched as the small wheels with numbers on them spun around. I clicked the buttons and got them all on the number 5! I smiled and clapped my hands. Taylor walked by and saw me sitting on Joe's lap. He had his fists balled tightly. His knuckles were turning white. He shook his head and walked away.
"Damn Jade. You're good at this." Joe smiled.
Tickets began coming out of the machine. About a minute later the tickets stopped. We had at least 500 tickets just from this machine. I folded then and put them in my pocket. (Tickets have those little dotted lines at the end of each ticket and you can fold them just in case you were wondering.)
"Great job Jade. Ready to find a new game?" Joe asked and I nodded.
He grabbed my hand and led me to more games. I followed behind him.
(Taylor's P.O.V)
That should be us sitting there playing games but that Joe guy has to swoop in and steal her away from me just like everybody else. I'll get her back. I always do. I love her to death and I can't let her leave me.
Seeing Jade sitting on his lap made my blood boil. I wanted to hit Joe so badly and beat the living daylight out of him but I didn't for her. Jade would hate me if I did that and it would've ruined this whole trip. I just need to calm down. If they want to be together they can. This trip will be over soon and they'll be apart, then she'll be mine again. But I also hate seeing them together.
(Jade's P.O.V)
Hours later we went back to Zoey and Alfie's place so we could all get our stuff to stay at Joe's. It's currently 5:26 pm. We spent about 2 hours at the park and then about 2 and half hours at the arcade. We had a 45 minute drive back to Joe's house but we had to drop Louise and Darcy off at their house so it turned into an hour long drive. Taylor sat in the very back by himself and I sat in the middle next to Joe. Joe wrapped his arm around my shoulders and I laid my head on him. He rubbed my arm with his thumb and I ended up falling asleep during the car ride to his house. Joe carried me bridal style in the house because he didn't want to wake me though. I woke up anyway.
"How about we order a pizza?" Alfie suggested.
"Sure. That sounds really good right now." Taylor said.
"What type of pizza do you want Taylor?" Alfie asked.
"I'll eat anything." Taylor replied and sat down on the couch.
While Alfie ordered the pizza we discussed where we'd be sleeping.
"Alfie and I can sleep down here and Taylor can take the guest room if that's okay." Zoey said.
Alfie hung up the phone and joined our conversation.
"That's fine. Where will you sleep Jade?" Alfie asked".
"Yes Jade. Where will you sleep?" Taylor crossed his arms and raised his eyebrows at me.
"She can just sleep in my room." Joe shrugged.
"I don't-" I cut Taylor off.
"That'd be just fine." I smiled at Joe and he smiled back.
A little bit later the doorbell rang and Zoey answered it. It was our food. She paid for the food and then shut the door. She set the pizza on the table and everybody got a slice but me. I just sat on the couch. I was hungry kind of but I didn't feel like eating. I can usually go a little bit without eating now. Joe noticed and talked to me about it.
"Why aren't you eating?" Joe asked.
"I'm not hungry." I shrugged.
"Jade, don't lie to me." Joe said and I sighed.
"I'm kind of hungry but I don't want to eat." I said.
"It's just one slice. It won't hurt you, I promise. Please eat a slice just for me. You're perfect to me in every way." Joe said.
I sighed.
"Okay. Only because you're my best friend." I smiled.
I got up and got a slice of pizza, then went back to the couch and ate it.
"There ya go." Joe smiled.
I kissed his cheek and then continued eating. Everyone talked amongst themselves while eating. It was really nice. After Joe and I ate we decided to go play video games in his room. We walked up to his room and Joe put in Call of Duty Black Ops. We grabbed a controller and Joe started the game. We sat next to each other on the floor.
I'm not very good at video games though. 5 minutes into the game I had died at least 25 times. Joe kept killing me.
"Joe, I suck at video games." I said.
"Want me to teach you how to play?" I nodded.
"Alright, scoot up and I'll sit behind you." I did as Joe said.
Joe sat behind me and stretched his legs out in front of me. I did the same. Joe put his controller down and placed his hands over mine on my controller. He started a new game and guided my fingers. I was loving this.
"Alright, so you're going to press this button to crouch, this one to shoot, this one to knife, and this one to jump." Joe said.
Joe began to play the game himself and I just looked up at him. He was biting the corner of his lip in concentration. He looked so adorable.
"Thank you gorgeous." Joe said.
"What?" I asked.
"You said I look cute while biting the corner of my lip in concentration." Joe smiled.
"Oh my gosh I can't believe I just said that out loud." I covered my face in embarrassment.
I could feel my face getting hot.
"Don't cover your beautiful face." Joe said.
My face got even hotter.
"You're so sweet Joe." I smiled.
Joe and I stared at each other and slowly leaned. As our lips were about to touch, we heard a voice.
"If you want anymore pizza come get it now." Zoey said.
Joe and I jumped away from each other. We stood up and Joe put his hand on the back of his neck.
"Every time." Joe whispered.
"Do you want anymore?" Zoey asked.
"Um, I'm good." Joe said.
"Me too." I said.
"Alright." Zoey smiled.
She went to walk away, but then backed up.
"Keep it PG in here you two." She pointed at Joe and I.
Zoey smiled and Joe and I laughed a nervous laugh. When Zoey left, Joe shut the door. We both collapsed on the bed and laughed.
"It seems like every time something goes to happen between us someone or something has to ruin it." Joe laughed.
"It does seem that way." I giggled.
It grew quiet. Joe and I were just laying on his bed staring at the ceiling. Joe spoke up a little bit later.
"I'll sleep on the floor tonight and you can sleep in my bed." Joe said.
"No. I'll take the floor. You sleep in your bed." I said.
"Nope. You're sleeping in the bed." Joe stubbornly said.
"Here's an idea, how about we both sleep in the bed? Only if you want to though. You don't have too." I said.
"We can do that." Joe looked at me and smiled.
This is going to be an interesting night.

Bit of a longer chapter so I hope you enjoyed!
I want to lose weight so I didn't eat this morning and I don't eat lunch at school. My lunch is at 12:05 and by 11, I felt a little light headed and sick so I had to go home. My mom told me I need to bring something to eat for lunch but I don't want to. I'm so frustrated right now guys.
