Chapter 159

(A/N: I realized that I've been spelling Zoe's name wrong. It's Zoe, not Zoey. Oops😂)
(Jade's P.O.V)
Kian and I talked for a good 3 hours because he had to go to a meeting. It was around 9 am when we stopped talking. I was still the only one down in the living room. They stayed up late last night so they'll be asleep for a few more hours I'm guessing. Taylor came down the stairs and sat on the other end of the couch.
"Couldn't sleep again?" I asked and Taylor nodded.
"I just laid awake in bed that whole time. Tossing and turning." Taylor said.
"Why couldn't you sleep?" I asked.
"I haven't been able to sleep since you haven't been in there with me." Taylor said.
"I've been having trouble sleeping to believe it or not." I replied.
"Glad we're on the same page." Taylor smiled slightly.
Zoey came downstairs and sat down next to me.
"Good morning Zoe." I said.
"Good morning." Zoe replied.
"Hey Zoe, do you think that me and you could go out shopping for a bit later?" Taylor asked.
"Sure. I'll go get cleaned up right now and then we can go." Zoe smiled.
Zoe walked up stairs and went to the bathroom to shower. .
"When we get back home, I'll make it all up to you. I'll make up everything I've done." Taylor said.
"I'm going to get dressed. I'll be back." I said and walked upstairs to Joe's room.
Joe was already awake but he was playing on his phone.
"Hey. I just came to get dressed." I said and Joe nodded.
I grabbed a plain black muscle tank, black shorts, and my white converse. I quickly got dressed right there and went into Zoe's room since she was doing her hair. Joe went downstairs.
I sat down on Zoe's bed and began talking to her.
"Why do you think Taylor wants to go shopping with you?" I asked.
"I have no idea but I barely know the kid so it'll be great to get to know him." Zoe smiled.
"I think you guys will get along. He can be cocky and annoying at times but that's just Taylor. He's always been like that." We lightly laughed.
"He doesn't seem like a good guy from what I've heard." Zoe said
"That's just the negative stuff. He can be really sweet sometimes." I said.
"I hope so. You don't deserve to be treated wrong." Zoe replied.
Zoe finished doing her hair and threw on some light makeup, then went downstairs.
"Ready?" She asked Taylor.
Taylor was already dressed. He nodded and got his shoes on.
"Bye Zoe." I hugged Zoe and she walked out the door with Taylor following her.
I sat down on the couch next to Joe and he pulled me close to him.
(Taylor's P.O.V)
Zoe and I pulled into the mall parking lot and walked inside.
"So why did you want to go shopping with me?" Zoe asked.
"Well, I haven't really gotten to know you and since you're one of Jade's best friends, I figured it was important to get to know you and I haven't been treating Jade the greatest. I've been getting mad at her and jealous whenever she hangs around guys so I wanted to buy her some stuff." I said.
"Well that's very sweet that you think about stuff like that. Do you know what to get her?" Zoe asked.
"She likes stuffed animals so I was thinking about buying her a kind of big stuffed animal with some of her favorite candies and some roses." I said.
"Well let's get looking." Zoe smiled.
We went to a toy shop first since there was stuffed animals there. I found a stuffed bear that was adorable. It was about 4 and a half feet tall. Jade is about 5'5 so it's almost as tall as her. I grabbed it without chewing the price and paid for it. It was only $50. No big deal.
Next, Zoe and I went to the candy shop.
"What type of sweets does Jade like?" Zoe asked.
"She likes just about anything." I replied.
I picked up 2 packages of gummy bears, 2 packages of tropical skittles, and a few more items. I paid for my items and then headed to the flower shop. I picked up a bouquet of roses. Roses are Jade's favorite. I also bought a basket to put everything in. I paid for the roses and then Zoe and I headed back to the house. I situated the basket in the car so when we got back I was able to give it to Jade. I know she'll like what I got her. I know my Jade.
Zoe and I arrived at the house about 15 minutes later. I grabbed the basket and the bear and headed inside. I opened the door and saw Joe, Alfie, Caspar sitting on the couch.
"Do you know where Jade is?" I asked Joe.
"Yeah. She's doing laundry." Joe said.
"Alright. Thanks." I walked upstairs and hid the stuff I got her by my bag. I'll give it to her when we're on out way back home in a few days. I'll figure something out so she doesn't see it.
(Jade's P.O.V)
As I was doing laundry, my phone rang. It was Johnson calling to FaceTime.
"Hey cutie." I said to Johnson.
"Hey gorgeous. You free to talk?" Johnson asked.
"I'm doing laundry but I'll talk to you." I replied.
"I miss you a lot. Everyone else misses you too. Especially Kian, Matt, and Sam. They feel weird without you here. You'll be back soon but they just feel kind of lost without you." Johnson said and my heart ached.
I started up the washer and walked up to Joe's room.
"Tell them when you have a chance that I'll be back before they know it and tell Matt that at least I won't be gone for 6 months." I laughed lightly and so did Johnson.
"Ugh. I miss you so much." Johnson said.
"I miss you so much too." I replied.
"When you get back, I'm gonna attack you in hugs. Literally. I'll tackle you and never let you leave again." Johnson said and I laughed.
"I love you. You're the best." I said.
"I love you too babe." Johnson said.
Most of the guys call me things like babe, baby, gorgeous, beautiful, etc. That's just what they do.
"Hey beautiful! I miss and love you!" Someone yelled.
"I miss and love you too Shawn!" I yelled back.
Johnson faced the camera so I could see Shawn and everybody else sitting on the couch.
"I see you guys." I said and everyone ran to Johnson.
"Hey Jade! We miss you!" Everyone yelled at different times so their sentence came out all jumbled.
Kian kissed Johnson's phone and everyone laughed.
"I miss you guys too, now go back to your TV." I laughed.
"Go back to your Johnson." Gilinsky said, making me laugh even more.
"Well, I should get going. I have to go shopping with the boys soon. I love you so so so much Jade Elizabeth Pottorff." Johnson said.
"Have fun. I love you so so so much too Jack Johnson." I said. "Forgot my middle name?" Johnson raised one eyebrow.
"Shush up and go shopping." I said.
"Whatever. I love you. Bye beautiful." Johnson said.
"I love you too. Bye babe." I hung up the FaceTime and slide phone back into my pocket. I walked to the living room and sat down next to Zoe. I laid my legs across her thighs and relaxed.

So I finally wrote a chapter. I'm camping and there's no wifi so I'll post when I get home or when I have wifi somewhere. No one really reads my book anymore so what's the point.
