Chapter 158

(Jade's P.O.V)
There was a band playing and people around this small stage. There was also people sitting at tables talking and drinking. I liked it.
"This is so calm. I like it." I said.
"It's pretty fun to come here." Alfie said.
We all found a table to sit at and sat down. Joe, Taylor, and Marcus went up and got everyone drinks. Even though Taylor and I were only 18, we could still get drinks. I'm surprised that Taylor went up there with Joe. Hopefully he doesn't be rude to him or anything.
They came back with our drinks and I took a sip of mine. It tasted like a piña colada.
"Is this a piña colada?" I asked.
"Yep. Taylor said that you love piña colada flavored stuff so I got you one." Joe said.
"Thanks Joe and thanks Taylor." I smiled lightly at Taylor and he smiled back.
"So who's the guy playing on stage?" I asked.
"I'm not sure. Sometimes they bring in small acts and let them play just for fun." Caspar said.
"That's really nice of them." I said.
Alfie and Zoey got up and went over to whoever was playing. The guy was singing covers songs. He started to sing a slowed version of Drown by Bring Me The Horizon and I smiled and walked over to Zoey and Alfie. (I freaking love Bring Me The Horizon😍)
"What doesn't kill you, makes you wish you were dead. Got a hole in my soul growing deeper and deeper." I sang along with the guy and with the rest of the people that knew the song.
I love this song. It pretty much explains me. Lots of songs do.
"You know this song?" Zoey asked.
"I love this song." I said and Zoey smiled.
Everybody else joined us except Taylor. He stayed at the table. Joe came and stood next to me and wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Are you having fun?" Joe asked.
"Yeah. It's been a lot of fun where with you guys." I said.
"You know, I think you should try to talk to Taylor when you guys get back to Cali." Joe said.
"I know. I might try to but I'm just sick of the jealousy and fights. I think that we're slowly slowly getting back to talking. We've lightly smiled at each other today." I said.
"That's good. I just feel wrong because it feels like I'm taking someone else's girl away." Joe said.
"You're not. Taylor hasn't ever asked me to be his girlfriend. We've gone on a few dates but only like 2 of them went well. The other times turned into disasters since he always got mad about something." I said.
"You shouldn't be treated that way. I feel wrong, but I hate how he treats you sometimes." Joe said.
"Don't feel wrong Joe." I said.
"I'll try not to. Let's just have a fun night" Joe smiled.

Later that night, Joe and I ended up going back to his house while the others stayed at the club. We were getting tired so we left. It was 11 am when we got back. The walk wasn't bad since it was cool out.
I changed into a pair of yoga shorts and one of Joe's shirts that he gave me a few days ago. It was just a plain black shirt. Joe and I brushed our teeth, then climbed into his bed and talked. I laid my head on his chest and my hand on his stomach. I traced little shapes on his chest. Joe had one arm wrapped around my waist and the other one behind his head.
"Jade, listen to what I'm about to say okay?" Joe said and I nodded.
"Do what you feel is right. Don't worry about the future. Just do it. Do what you want and when the consequences come, worry about it then. Don't take this advice to everything. Don't like rob a bank or something and then worry about it." Joe and I laughed a little at the last part. "Just do what you feel is right okay?" I nodded.
There was a silence for a few minutes but then I spoke up.
"What do you feel is right?" I asked.
"Well, I feel like that you and Taylor should be together since you guys love each other, but he treats you badly sometimes and it's not right." Joe said.
"So what should I do about it?" I asked.
"Just live in the moment right now and talk to him when you get back. Live now." Joe said.
"So whatever happens happens?" I asked.
"Yes." Joe replied.
I looked up at him and he looked down at me. We inched closer to each other's lips.
"We're home!" Caspar yelled from downstairs and Joe sighed.
I rolled over and laid next to Joe.
"We're up here!" Joe yelled back.
He closed his eyes and sighed once more.
"Every time." He whispered.
I get what he means. Every time we're about to kiss, we're interrupted.
Taylor came up the stairs and stood in Joe's doorway.
"Goodnight Joe, goodnight Jade." Taylor smiled slightly.
"Goodnight Taylor. Sleep well." I smiled.
Taylor walked off to where he'd has been sleeping.
"That was odd." I said.
"He's been trying to be nice to me I think. We actually had a 2 minutes conversation while getting drinks earlier." Joe said.
"I'm happy to hear that. I don't want anymore fights. It's frustrating." I said.
"It won't be going on much longer. Sure Taylor treats you badly sometimes and it's wrong, but the guys got a good head on his shoulders." Joe said.
"Agreed." I smiled.
Joe and I laid there in silence for a few minutes but then he spoke up.
"I suppose we should go to bed." Joe said.
"Okay. Let me say goodnight to everybody." I said.
I walked out of Joe's room and stood on the stairs.
"Goodnight everybody! I love you all!" I screamed.
"Goodnight Jade! We love you too!" Everyone yelled back, including Taylor who was in his room.
Joe began to laugh and I walked back into his room and shut the door.
"Not my idea of saying goodnight but I works." Joe laughed.
I laughed along with him and climbed into his bed. I laid how we did earlier and Joe shut off the lamp next to his bed.
"Goodnight love." Joe said.
"Goodnight Joe." I replied.
"Joe, can you sing for me?" I whispered.
"Yes I will." Joe said.
He began singing Happily by One Direction and I smiled.
"I don't care what people say when we're together. You know I wanna be the one to hold you in your sleep. I just want it to be you and I forever I know you wanna leave so baby be with me so happily." Joe sang.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep to Joe's voice.
(Taylor's P.O.V)
I learned that I need to chill out on Jade and Joe. Joe is actually a really cool guy and if I want Jade back, I need to calm down a lot. I feel bad for what I've done and I want another chance but I'm not just going to kiss her and expect her to forgive me like always. I'm going to work for this. I need to earn her forgiveness and trust. I do miss having her latched onto me but if she's happy with Joe, I'll have to let her go. It'll hurt so fucking bad but I love her and her happiness means everything to me.

(Jade's P.O.V)
I woke up at 6:13 am. I couldn't sleep for some reason. Joe had his arms wrapped tightly around me. If I tried to escape his grip, I'd surely fail. I couldn't sleep so I needed to get up but Joe had such a tight grip on me and he was sound asleep. He sounded so peaceful. I needed to get up though.
"Joseph, I need to get up." I said and Joe groaned and pulled me closer to his chest.
"Please. I can't sleep." I pleaded.
"I'll get up with you then." Joe whispered.
"No. It's okay. Stay here and sleep." I said.
"Fine." Joe unwrapped his arms from my body and I got up.
"Thanks Joe." I brushed Joe's hair out of his face and kissed his forehead.
I walked out of Joe's bedroom and went to the kitchen. I got a glass of water and drank it. I stood by the counter when I finished my water, getting lost in my thoughts.
"Couldn't sleep?" Someone asked and I jumped.
I looked over and saw Taylor.
"Um, yeah." I said.
"Me either." Taylor said.
We stood there in silence for a few minutes before Taylor spoke up.
"Whatever you decide to do Jade is your choice. If you're happy with Joe, then so be it. I'll be here no matter what. I'll try to except your decisions because I love you." Taylor said.
"Thanks Tay. That means a lot." I smiled.
"Can I at least get a hug? You don't have to if you don't want to but-" I cut Taylor off by hugging him.
I wrapped my arms around his torso and laid my head on his chest. Taylor let out a sigh of relief. He put one hand on the back on my head and stroked my hair and wrapped his other arm around my waist.
"Just know that I love you okay? Spend the rest of your time here having fun." I nodded.
We pulled away and Taylor walked back upstairs and so did I. I walked back into Joe's room and he was still asleep. I decided not to wake him so I grabbed my phone off of the dresser and walked back downstairs and sat on the couch. Since it's summer, the sun was coming up and it was fairly bright out. It was probably around 10 am in California, so I decided to give Kian a call. He picked up after one ring.
"Hey Jay." Kian said.
"Hey Bean." I replied.
"What are you doing up? Isn't it like 7 am where you're at?" Kian asked.
"I couldn't sleep so I came downstairs and got some water, where I ran into Taylor." I said.
"Give me the deeds." Kian said like a schoolgirl.
I told Kian what had happened between Taylor and I. It wasn't that big of a deal though.
"I can tell that Taylor really loves you. He's willing to let you go just so you can be happy." Kian said.
"I know. I love him too. I'll have to figure everything out with Taylor when we get back. I want to have fun on this trip." I said.

My chapters suck. I don't update much anymore. I've been hitting depression really hard lately. I don't have motivation to get out of bed even though it's summer. I can't do anything anymore and I'm so sorry. I'll try to update more.
