Chapter 128

(Jade's P.O.V)
"Baaabbyyy." Taylor flopped down on my bed.
"What?" I groaned.
"Let's go somewheeree." Taylor groaned.
"Where?" I sleepily said.
"StarBucks?" Taylor said and I slowly got up.
I grabbed a pair of white, high wasted shorts, my batman crop top, and my black vans. Taylor sat on my bed and basically watched me changed.
"Pervert." I said.
"Only with you." Taylor smirked.
I smiled and got into my clothes. We walked downstairs and the girls were still sleeping. We walked outside and the warm air hit my face and felt amazing. Living in California is a dream for me. Sam and I have lived here our whole lives but I wouldn't want to move anywhere but here. It's nice, warm, and the sunsets and sunrises are so beautiful and I love it.
"What are you thinking about?" Taylor asked as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
I wrapped my arm around his skinny torso.
"How much I love it here in Cali." I smiled.
"I love it too. I've always wanted to live here and when I moved here in 8th grade I was so happy. That's when I met all of you." Taylor said.
We walked into StarBucks and of course the guys had to be here.
"They're here." I whispered to Taylor.
"Just stay close to me and they don't say much. I told them I told you anyway." Taylor pulled me closer to him.
"Hey Jade." Cam said as we walked past them.
I didn't say anything. Taylor and I ordered our drinks, then sat down.
"Sorry for being such a jerk to you all the time." Taylor apologized.
"Don't apologize for anything. We both made mistakes so we're both at fault." I said.
"I still feel bad." Taylor said.
I leaned over the table and kissed him.
"Don't worry Tay." I said.
"I'll try not to." He said.
We talked about the most weirdest and randomest things while we were there. We debated about the different ways people say tomato.
"It's pronounced toe-may-toe." Taylor said.
"Well in the south it's ta-ma-toe." I said.
"Well that's not how I say it." Taylor sighed angrily and I giggled.
"You're cute when your mad." I said.
"Why thank you Jade Elizabeth. You're cute all of the time." Taylor smiled and I blushed.
The boys were still here and they kept looking over at us. I felt a little weird but oh well.
"Oh my god it's Taylor Caniff and Jade Pottorff." A few girls whispered.
"I ship them." They said.
They came over to us smiling.
"Can we have pictures?" One of the girls asked.
"Want me to take it?" I asked.
"No." The girl said a little meanly.
Well then.
"I want you to be in it silly!" She smiled.
I smiled back and we took photos with the girls.
"I ship you too but I think Gilinsky or Matt would make a cute couple with you as well." A girl said.
"Thanks. The boys are over there if you guys want pictures." I smiled and linter to the boys.
She smiled and hugged me. I hugged her back, then her and her fiends went to take pictures with the boys.
"They were so sweet. You're fans are amazing and so beautiful." I smiled.
"Yeah, they are. I love the fans so much." Taylor smiled back.
"Let's go to the O2L house. They're probably doing something crazy that we shouldn't miss." I said.
We walked out of StarBucks and to the O2L house. They lived only a few blocks away. As we walked up we heard a shout.
"Fuck you Ricky!" Kian yelled and ran through the front.
"Oh hey guys. We're having a nerf gun fight. Go out to the back and we'll re chose teams." Kian said and her walked to the back.
I'm the nerf queen so this shall be fun. Kian is the nerf king so it's us against each other.
"Okay. Team captains are Kian and Jade since you guys are the nerf bosses. You guys pick people and we'll start after we set up bases." Jc said.
(Btw the bases are areas where they go to re load. I just thought of it so go along😂)
"Okay. I'll take Ricky, Connor, aannddd." I dragged out the and in thought.
"Jc." I said.
"I'm with Trevor, Sam, and Taylor. Let's set bases." Kian said.
"Our base can be right in this spot by the gate." I walked over to the gate.
(The spot where Kian and Ricky did the yoga challenge)
"Our spot is here by the back door." Kian walked to the back door.
"I have an idea." Ricky said.
He ran inside and a few minutes later he had 8 bandanas. 4 were red and the other 4 were neon green.
"Jade and Kian, pick colors." Ricky said.
"I'll take red." I said.
Ricky handed me the 4 bandanas and gave Kian the green ones. I handed the bandanas out to my team and we all put them on. I put my hair up in a bun at the top of my head and tied my bandana on my head.
"Let's play music so it's more fun." Sam said and we all agreed.
Kian went inside and grabbed a cord and plugged it into Sam's iPhone.
"We have outdoor speakers too and when you plug this cord into a phone it plays the music." Kian said.
That's pretty awesome.
"Alright. Everybody run!" Kian yelled and we all took off running.
I ran to the front of the house with Trevor chasing me. I ran into the garage and hid behind Kian's car.
"I know you're here Jade. I just don't know which spot." Trevor said.
I quickly shot up and shot a bullet but it missed Trevor. I took off running. I turned around and quickly shot Trevor.
"Dammit!" Trevor yelled.
I laughed and ran to the back yard where I spotted Sam. Where's everyone else? I shot a bullet but of course it missed Sam.
"I'll get you Jade!" Sam yelled and shot a bullet back.
I hid behind this pole and shot one back but I hit him this time.
"Fuck." Sam said.
I smiled and Sam walked over to Trevor, Jc, and Ricky. That means Taylor, Connor, and Kian are still in. Kian's going to be a tough one. Connor ran out from the front and to the others. Dammit. Now it's one against two. I ran to the front and into the garage again.
"Now it's just Jade which she's a hard one to take out. She's been having nerf wars with us since she was 8. We've trained her well." Kian said to Taylor and I smirked.
Kian and Taylor were crouched down behind Kian's car and I was behind Ricky's. Oh god. I need to distract Taylor or Kian so I can shoot one of them. I found a football in the corner so I quietly grabbed it and threw it out. It flew out to the drive way.
"What the hell? She's in here. I can feel her presence. I'll go look around." Taylor said.
I crawled over to the front of Ricky's car and saw Kian. He didn't see me though. I peaked my head around Ricky's car and saw Taylor. He spotted me and I took off running.
"Kian get her!" Taylor yelled.
I ran to the back yard with them chasing me. I climbed onto the trampoline and did a flip across it. I shot Taylor and he yelled.
"I'll get revenge babe!"
I ran to the roof with Kian chasing me. I ran to the very top and Kian smirked.
"Now it's just us. You can give up and I won't shoot, or I'll just shoot you." Kian said.
"Never." I replied.
"Whatever you say. I'll give you a few seconds to say you last words." Kian smirked.
I noticed he was by the edge of the roof meaning the pool was right below him.
"Do you have your phone on you?" I asked.
"Why is that your last words? I don't have it on." Kian said.
"Good." I replied and pushed him off the roof.
He yelled as he went down and he hit the water.
He popped his head up after a few seconds and I shot a bullet. It hit him right in the head.
"I win!" I yelled.
"That's so unfair!" Kian yelled.
"She didn't cheat Kian, she still hit you." Jc laughed.
I climbed down from the roof and Kian was soaking wet.
"We'll have a rematch." Kian said.
"Just accept the fact that I won and you lost." I said.
"Never. Now, give me a hug." Kian smirked and chased after me.
"Get away Kian! You're soaking wet!" I yelled.
Kian pulled me by my waist and hugged me.
"Oh my god you're so cold!" I laughed.
He let me go and i playfully punched his arm.
"That was awesome." Sam said.
"It was a lot of fun. Even though I was the first one out." Trevor said and I laughed.
"It was fun but the bad the is Jade beat me." Kian pouted.
"Never challenge a queen at her own game." I said.
Flights by the Jacks began to play and Gilinsky's name showed up on my phone.
"Hang on. It's Gilinksy." I said and answered my phone.
"Hey Gilinsky what's up?" I asked.
"I was just wondering where you and Taylor are." He said.
"We're at the O2L house. We just finished having a nerf war. What's the actual reason you called?" I asked.
The boys were all talking and I stepped away from them and inside the house so they couldn't hear me.
"I can't call my friend?" Jack asked.
"Jack, why'd you call? You normally never call me when I'm out." I said and he sighed.
"Fine. I just feel sad and I don't know why. I feel like I'm alone." He confessed.
"I understand how you feel. I get the same way too. Sometimes I'll feel sad and I can't figure out why. I normally just sit in my room on my laptop or sometimes I even go talk with everybody and I feel somewhat better." I said.
"I just need a friend." Jack whispered.
"Taylor and I will be there in a few minutes." I said and hung up.
I walked back outside and told the boys we were leaving. I hugged everyone, then Taylor and I walked to the Magcon house.
"Is Gilinksky okay?" Taylor asked.
"He said he feels sad but he can't figure out why and that he needs a friend so I told him we'd be back." I said and Taylor nodded.
About 10 minutes later we reached the house and I walked up to Gilinksy's room. I opened the door and he was there laying in his bed on his phone. He saw me and stood up. I walked over to him and hugged him. He hugged me tightly by my waist and lifted me up. He's pretty strong.
"It's going to be okay Jack. Let's go downstairs with the boys and we'll all talk okay?" I said and he nodded.
I kissed his cheek and we walked downstairs. He sat on the couch and I sat next to him. I laid my head on his should and played with his fingers. It seems like everyone's been upset lately. I hate seeing my friends upset. It makes me upset and feel bad.
"We'll figure something out Jack." I said and he nodded.
He sighed and laid his head on mine.
