Chapter 144

(Taylor's P.O.V)
*hours later*
It's now 1 am and Jade has gone to bed. We sent her upstairs to sleep so we all could look for plane tickets to Brighton. Jade really wants to see Zoey and Alfie so I'm going to make that happen.
"Has anyone found anything yet?" I asked.
"No not yet." Everyone said.
"Dammit. Let's keep looking." I said.
We all searched more and about 10 minutes later Jc spoke.
"I think I found something!" Jc said.
We all ran over to him and looked at his laptop screen. Sure enough, he found a plane ticket.
"When's the date for it?" I asked.
"It says August 12th which is in 2 days!" Jc said excitedly.
How did Jade not find this?
"That's perfect! Today is the 10th so that's perfect! We need someone to go with her though. Who will go?" I asked.
"Since this was your idea to search harder for plane tickets, I think you should go." Connor said.
"I think it's a good idea." Sam said.
"Me too." Nash said.
Everyone agreed that I should go since it was my idea so I guess I'm going.
"I'll pay for the tickets too. How long will Jade and I be gone?" I asked.
"You guys should go for about a week." Matt said.
"Okay. That sounds good. She'll be so excited." Jc said.
"We'll tell her tomorrow morning when she wakes up." I said.
"I'll text Zoey and Alfie right now to let them know what's going on." Connor said.
"Sounds good. Now, let's all get some sleep shall we?" Matt said.
Everyone piled around them living room but I went upstairs to Jade. I took off my shirt and slipped on a pair of sweats. I crawled into bed next to Jade and wrapped my arms around her waist, careful not to wake her.
"I love you my princess." I whispered and kissed the back of her neck.
Jade turned around and buried her face into my chest. I forgot that it sometimes takes Jade hours to fall asleep. I'm just glad she's calmed down from earlier and I'm so excited that she gets to see Zoey and Alfie. She'll be so happy.

(Jade's P.O.V)
I woke up and stretched. I was in bed alone. Taylor came upstairs and into bed last night but he must be downstairs. I got up and took a quick shower, did my hair, then put on a pair of leggings, my black muscle tank, and my neon yellow bra from Victoria's Secret. Everyone is used to me just walking around in a bra and t shirt because I do it all the time.
I walked downstairs and to the kitchen. As I looked for food I noticed an envelope on the counter with my name on it. I grabbed it and walked out to the living room.
"What's this?" I asked.
Everybody smiled. Creepy.
"I don't know. Open it and find out." Matt said.
I opened the envelope and saw two tickets. No way.
"Now way." I said.
"No freaking way!" I yelled.
Everybody laughed.
"You guys did not buy me tickets to Brighton!" I yelled.
"Yes we did and Taylor's going with you. This was all his idea too. He was the one who wanted to look more for plane tickets. We all searched for tickets and Jc found them but it was Taylor's idea." Sam said.
Taylor stood up and I ran to him. I hugged him tightly.
"Thank you Tay I love you so freaking much." I planted kisses all over his face.
Everyone awed and we smiled. I hugged Taylor tightly and a few minutes later I pulled away from our embrace and hugged everyone else.
"I love you guys so much. Thank you for everything." I said.
"We love you too Jade. We'll do anything for you." Sam said.
I kissed everybody on the cheek.
"When do we leave?" I asked.
"2 days. You'll be there for about a week." Gilinsky said.
"I need to get packing then. Will someone drive me back to the house?" I asked.
"I will." Matt said.
"I'll drive over to the Magcon house to get my stuff too." Taylor said.
We got our shoes on and walked to Matt's car. Taylor walked to his car and drove off. Our car ride was quiet but not awkward. Matt eventually spoke up.
"So are you excited to go see Zoey and Alfie?" Matt asked.
"Yes. I can't thank you guys enough for this. I love you." I said.
"I love you too baby girl. We saw how upset you were so Taylor wanted to make sure you saw Zoey and Alfie." Matt smiled.
We arrived at the house minutes after our little conversation. I went straight upstairs with Matt and grabbed a suitcase to put all of my clothes in. I packed leggings, shorts, crop tops, tank tops, one of Taylor's hoodies, 2 pairs of vans, underwear, bras, my hair products, (like a straightener, hair curler, etc) perfume, and more. I'll only be there for a week but I'll still need all of that stuff.
"Damn Jade. You pack a lot of stuff." Matt chuckled.
"Shut up." I laughed and playfully smacked his arm.
"I can't believe you'll be gone for a week. You better FaceTime, call, and text me everyday so I know you're okay." Matt said.
"Okay dad." I sarcastically said.
Matt came over to me and hugged me tightly. I wrapped my small arms around his torso and laid my head on his chest. Matt rested his chin on top of my head. After a few seconds of standing there I sighed.
"I'm going to miss you." I confessed.
"I'm going to miss you too. You'll be back before you know it. Just enjoy your time with Zoey and Alfie while you're there." Matt smiled.
"Thanks Matt. You're always so comforting." I kissed his cheek and smiled.
"I'll always be here for you baby girl." Matt said.
We stood there holding each other in silence for a few more minutes. I didn't mind because I'll miss Matt a lot when I'm gone. I'll only be gone for about a week but still. I'll miss everybody. I'm so excited that I get to see Zoey and Alfie. I can't believe Taylor bought tickets for us to go. He's so sweet and caring.
I pulled away from me and Matt's hug and he kissed my forehead.
"Could we stop at a few shops so I can get a present for Nala, Zoey, and Alfie?" I asked.
"Sure." Matt smiled.
I grabbed my suitcase and headed out to Matt's car with Matt. We drove around until we found a shop. We drove downtown since there's normally pretty good shops there. I spotted a makeup shop so I had Matt stop. We got out of the car and walked inside. There was lots of makeup here so there was many decisions. Matt and I walked around the store and I picked up items along the way. I ended up with 3 lipsticks, 2 perfumes, and 4 lotions. The perfumes and lotions smelt really good so I knew Zoey would love them. The color lipsticks I bought her were a deep purple that I've seen her wear, a bright red, and a skin color/light pink. I thought that the colors would look nice on Zoey.
As I walked up to the checkout counter Matt grabbed the basket with my items from me.
"Matt, let me pay." I said.
"Don't worry about it. I got it." Matt replied.
I groaned.
"Matt, this was my idea so I'm paying." I argued as I grabbed my card out of my purse.
Matt put the items on the counter and the lady scanned them. The total was $56.37 Matt reached in his wallet to grab his card and I quickly handed mine to the lady.
"Dammit Jade." Matt said.
"I always win." I smirked.
Matt chuckled and so did the lady. I grabbed the bag that held my items and walked out with Matt. We walked around downtown for a place to get Alfie something.
"Next items you get I'm paying." Matt said.
"Whatever you say Matthew." I smiled.
I found a candy store so I walked in it. Maybe I can get Alfie and Zoey some american candy. I roamed around the small shop and picked up candy on the way. I got jolly ranchers, sour patch kids, and more. Matt paid for it and we left. The total for that was only about $15.
"I still need to find more stuff for Alfie." I said.
"Well, there's a toy store just up here so I'm sure we can find something there." Matt smiled.
We walked up to the toy store and sure enough, I found stuff for Alfie. I picked up a remote control helicopter, cards against humanity, and a few more items. The total was $87.43. Matt insisted on paying and kept getting mad when I argued with him so I let him pay. I'll pay for Nala's stuff though.
"Now all we have left is Nala. We'll have to drive to the pet store." I said.
Matt and I walked back to his car and put the bags in the back seat. Matt drove us to the pet store.
"I'm thinking of just getting her a few toys, treats, and a cute sweater." I said.
"You know, this is so sweet that you're getting them stuff." Matt smiled.
"I haven't seen them in forever and I haven't met Nala yet so I want to get them some gifts." I smiled.
I grabbed chew toys, treats, and a cute pink sweater for Nala and I paid for it. Matt got mad at me for it but it was worth it. I walked back to Matt's car with Matt and put the bag in the back seat.
"I'm so excited to see them." I smiled.
"I can tell." Matt smiled back.
When we got back to the house everyone bombarded me hugs.
"We missed you." Jc said.
"I missed you guys too." I said.
Everyone pulled away from me and I showed them what I got Zoey, Alfie, and Nala.
"Oh my god these perfumes smell amazing! Zoey will love them!" Acacia exclaimed.
"Thanks Cacy." I smiled.
"Well, I have to wrap these in the kitchen now." I said.
"I'll help you Jay." Gilinsky stood up.
"Thanks." I smiled.
We walked to the closet and found some wrapping paper, then walked out to the kitchen and sat at the table.
"I'll wrap Zoey and Nala's and you can wrap Alfie's. Alfie's will be wrapped in the blue paper." I said.
"Yes ma'am." Gilinsky said and I giggled.
"Sorry about being so bossy." I smiled.
"You're not being bossy. You're just giving me information about what needs to be wrapped." Gilinsky smiled.
"Thanks Jack." I kissed his cheek.
"Alright. Let's get wrapping." I said.
I grabbed the pink wrapping paper and began to wrap Zoey's presents. I'm pretty skilled with wrapping gifts just like my mother. As I finished wrapped two of Zoey's presents I looked over to Gilinsky and see him struggling with the first gift. He cut the paper very uneven, folded it wrong, and layered the tape on the box so it would be hard to open.
"I uh, I kind of need a little help." Gilinsky scratched the back of his neck.
I laughed and grabbed the box. I ripped the paper off it and cut a new section. I showed Gilinsky how to wrap it and then he tried the next box. I began wrapping Zoey's presents again but I joey checking on Gilinsky. He seemed to be getting the hang of it.

As we finished, the presents looked great.
"You did a great job Jack." I smiled.
"Not bad yourself Jay." Jack returned the smile.
"Thank you so much for helping me Jack. It means a lot." I said.
"No problem. You'll be gone for a week in 2 days so I wanted to help you out." Jack said.
Jack wrapped his arm around me shoulders and kissed my temple. We grabbed the presents and put them in one big bag, then walked back out to the living room.
As I was walking back out to the living room, Kian and Sam were standing off to the side so when I entered they jumped out and grabbed me. I screamed and fell back into Gilinsky. She caught me and we all laughed.
"You guys are such jerks!" I laughed.
"But you love us." Sam said and they hugged me.
I sat down next to Matt and laid my head on his shoulder.
"Since you and Taylor are going to be leaving in a few days, how about we go to a club and have fun then tomorrow we can all chill?" Nash said.
"I'm down for it." I said.
Everyone else agreed to go so we all got ready. It's about 6 pm since I spent nearly all day out with Matt.

I finally updated! Sorry my chapters have been lacking so much. I'll try to update ASAP but I often write a chapter and try to think of ideas to make the chapter longer or I feel as if I didn't put much in the chapter so I'll try to improve it. Anyway, thanks to anyone who has nene reading this book. It means a lot.
