Chapter 173

(Jade's P.O.V)
Sammy and I sat down on the couch and I began talking to Dan.
"So how's your videos coming?" I asked.
"Pretty good. How's your life going?" Dan chuckled.
"Amazing. I have my family here and my boyfriend, my best friend I've known since I was really young moved here now, and you guys are all here." I said.
"That sounds awesome. We're all so glad we could come here for your birthday. We flew here yesterday but we're leaving tomorrow." Dan said.
"I'll make sure I'm there when you guys leave tomorrow." I smiled.
"Why don't we just go to a club? Does that sound good Jade?" Carter asked.
"Let's do it. I'm up for some fun." I said.
Everyone went to get stuff to wear so I went up to my room and found my black stretchy dress with sleeves that go to my elbows and I put it on. I usually wear this to the club since I love it so much. I wore my new heels that Andrea got me. I straightened my hair and applied some mascara and winged my eyeliner. I walked downstairs and everyone whistled and hollered.
"Damn she's fine!"
Johnson yelled.
"Who's that sexy lady?" Zoe yelled and I laughed.
"Let's go guys." I laughed.
We all piled into the cars. I rode with Sammy, Zoe, and Alfie. When we arrived we went inside and the music was blaring. The designated drivers were Shawn, Nash, Ricky, and Phil. The rest of us took a shot and danced. I grabbed Andrea, Acacia, and Zoe's hand and we all danced to Cameras by Chiddy Bang. I was having fun so far and we haven't even been here that long.
"Happy birthday beautiful!" The girls yelled over the music.
"Thanks guys! I love you!" I yelled back.
"We love you too!" They yelled.
This is going to be a great night.

I've only had 3 shots. I want to remember this birthday. I was currently sitting with Joe at a table.
"Are you having fun?" Joe asked and I nodded.
"This is so much fun. I'm glad you guys are here." I smiled.
"We're glad too." Joe smiled back.
Joe kissed my cheek and then I went off to dance with Sammy. We started dancing to Dreaming With A Broken Heart by John Meyer. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist. Sammy was singing the song to me while we danced.
"When you're dreaming with a broken heart, waking up is the hardest part." Sammy sang in my ear.
I smiled and laid my head on his chest. I remember when he was singing with to my the other night. It was amazing.
I have no idea where Taylor is. I tried looking for him but I couldn't find him. We probably passed each other without realizing it.
The song ended and Do What You Want by Lady GaGa featuring R Kelly came
On.
"Back in the club taking shots getting naughty. No invitations it's a private party. Do what I want do what I want with your body. Do what I want do what I want with your body. Yeah we taking these haters and we roughing up and we laying in the club like we don't give a fuuuck!" Sammy and I sang.
We were dancing and having so much fun.
"Do what you want with my body! You can't stop my voice cause you don't own my life but do what you want with my body!" I sang.
Sammy had his hands placed on my hips and I was swaying my hips to my music. I noticed Taylor out of the corner of my eye with his fists balled up. When the song ended I placed a kiss on Sammy's cheek and walked over to Taylor.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing." He said through gritted teeth.
"Babe, I can tell when there's something wrong. What's wrong?" I asked once again.
"Fine. You wanna know what's wrong? You've been ditching me for Sammy. All you've been doing is paying attention to him and you barley come around me. You act like a couple with him and you'll barely come talk with me or even sleep in the same bed as me now. It's like he's your new boyfriend! Now Joe's here and lord knows what will happened between you guys!" Taylor yelled and I stepped back.
"Taylor, you're my boyfriend." I said.
"Yeah well it doesn't really feel like it." Taylor scoffed and anger boiled in me.
"It's my fucking birthday. Thanks Taylor. I haven't seen Sammy
In years! Why can't you just be happy that I'm happy for once! God you're so selfish! Happy fucking birthday to me!" I yelled and walked away from him.
He tried to grab me but I walked too fast. I walked up to Sammy and told him to give me the keys to the car.
"You're not driving. We already have people that are driving. You've had 3 shots already. It's still not safe." Sammy said.
"I don't care! Just hand me the god damn keys!" I yelled and Sammy looked a little taken back.
A waitress came by with shots and I grabbed one and drank it as she walked by.
"Make that 4." I said.
"No. You're not driving." Sammy said.
"Nows not the fucking time to argue Samuel! I need to go home and be alone!" I yelled.
"If you want to leave I'll drive. I haven't drank anything." Sammy said, dangling the keys in front of me.
I took off my heels and snatched the keys and ran out of that club so fast.
"Jade Elizabeth Pottorff come back here right now!" Sammy yelled.
I had Sammy, Kian, Johnson, and Taylor chasing me. Shit.
"I just want to leave!" I yelled.
I reached the car and unlocked it. As I went to get in Sammy grabbed my hand and threw the keys down.
"You are not driving home! You've drank 4 shots now and who's knows if you're drunk but you have alcohol in your fucking system and I will not let you crash!" Sammy yelled.
"Who's cares! I just want to leave!" I yelled.
"Jade, I'm sorry. Please don't drive. Just talk to me." Taylor said.
"Let's see how I fucking feel tomorrow morning, maybe we can talk then." I harshly said.
"Wait, Taylor what the fuck did you do?" Kian asked.
Taylor explained what had happened and Kian sighed.
"Listen, this shit happens way too fucking often." Sammy said.
"Stay out of it Sam. It's your fault why I'm mad." Taylor said.
"Oh so it's my fault now? Jade can't even look at a guy without you jumping down her throat! You used to be so cool Taylor and now you're just a dick! Someone needs to confront you and that someone is me. You should feel lucky that you fucking have Jade. After all that I've been that happened between you guys, she shouldn't be with you at all. It's her fucking birthday and you choose to do this tonight?" Sammy said.
"It's not my fault that you're all over my girlfriend!" Taylor yelled.
Sammy put me behind him and took a step towards Taylor. Not too close though.
"I was in her life before you were. You met her while she was a freshman in high school, I met her in the 3rd grade. You need to fucking chill because when it comes to Jade, I don't fuck around." Sammy said.
"She's my fucking girlfriend so I'm not fucking around either Sam. You don't know everything like you say you do." Taylor said.
When will this end?
"It sounds like to me we have a complete douchebag who doesn't let his girlfriend do what she wants." Sammy said.
I haven't seen Sammy this mad in a while.
"Jade is my girlfriend. Not yours. Get that through your damn head." Taylor said.
"Jade, get in the car." Sammy said through gritted teeth.
Taylor and Sammy both stepped closer to each other. By now, our whole group was outside.
"Guys, not tonight. Kill each other some other time. It's still my birthday and I just want it to end peacefully." I said.
"I'm leaving now and I'm taking Jade with me." Sammy said, his teeth still gritted.
"Jade, if you get in that car with him I swear to god." Taylor said.
"If I get into the car with you, it'll piss off Sammy because I chose you over him. If I get I to the car with Sammy then you'll get pissed because I chose him over you! Fuck this, I'm walking. Peace people." I said and I began walking down the parking lot. I heard footsteps behind me.
"Whoever it is just fuck off!" I yelled.
"It's only me but okay." Joe said.
"I'm sorry Joe. I just need to go." I hugged Joe and kissed his cheek, then continued walking.
"Pleas be safe." Joe said and I nodded.
The club is like 5 minutes away from the house so I'll be fine. No one came after me though so I was alone. It's 11:45 pm and I'm walking home alone on my birthday. Wow.
"I miss you Nat and mom and dad. I love you." I whispered.
My moms note! I forgot about it! I hurried home and arrived safely. I went up to my room and fond the note on my dresser. I opened it and began reading.
Dear Jade,
My sweet Jade. You're 19 now. Wow. Time flies doesn't it? You're probably with your friends while your dad and I are at home. I hope you had fun. I need to tell you something important. Be safe. When I was 19, my friends and I always caused mischief so don't you get in any trouble. You'll probably be with Sam and Kian so I know you'll be just fine. Kian is like another older brother to you and I'm so happy that they take good care of you. They watch out for you and protect you just like a brother should. Don't make the same mistakes I did. One night, my friend had just turned 19 so me and some of our other friends took her out around town and we broke into an abandoned building and got arrested. We were in a waiting cell for a few hours. You're dad came and bailed us out but boy was he mad. Anyway, happy birthday darling. Be safe. I love you. Xx -mama.
I finished the note and set it on my dresser. I laid on my bed on my side and curled up into a ball and cried. I wish my parents and Nat were here. I miss them so much. I need them.
This is going to be a long night.
