Chapter 181

(Jade's P.O.V)
A few hours later Matt and I ended up at the park a few blocks away from my house. We sat on the swings eating our frozen yogurt that we had gotten.
"This day has been fun." Matt said.
"I agree." I smiled.
After Matt and I finished our frozen yogurt, we went back to my house and everyone was still there. I sat down next to Sammy and he wrapped his arm around me.
"Did you guys have fun?" He asked.
"Yes we did. We got frozen yogurt and it was amazing." I said.
"What should we do tonight then since it's already 6 pm?" Nash asked.
Damn. I didn't realize Matt and I were out for that long.
"Sam and Acacia should be back soon so maybe we could go to the fair that's downtown." Dom said.
Just as Dom said that, Sam and Acacia walked in and sat down.
"Want to go to the fair?" Dom asked and Sam and Acacia nodded.
"Should we invite Taylor?" Johnson asked.
"He's still our friend, so yes." Shawn said.
They called up Taylor and he agreed to come. Great. He said he'd meet us there.
I slipped on my flip flops and we walked out the door and into our cars. When we arrived at the fair, I got out of the car wit Sammy and we got wristbands so we can ride any ride we want instead of getting tickets for only a few rides. We waited for everyone else once we entered. When they got in, we talked about the plan.
"Okay, so you and Sammy and go run off and the rest of us will split up as well." Sam said.
Taylor walked up to the group and Shawn explained what will be happening and he nodded.
"Let's go then." I said to Sammy as I grabbed his hand.
We interlocked our fingers and walked away. We went on the swings first since I wanted to go on them. (You know the swings you sit in and it spins and it stuff? You know what I'm talking about😂) We waited in like for like 30 seconds since the ride was stopping. Just in time.
We got on the ride and I swung my feet like a little kid.
"Someones excited." Sammy chuckled.
"Yes. Yes I am." I replied.
The ride started up and it moved in a circle. Soon it began going a little faster and it was a lot of fun. I smiled really big and swing my feet still, the wind going between my toes since I had to take my flip flops off and sit on them so they didn't fly off.
I closed my eyes and kept smiling. This feels so awesome. I feel like I'm freely flying and I feel free. This might be just a fair ride, but I feel amazing. The ride started to slow down and I lowered down to the ground. Once it stopped, Sammy and I got off and I slipped my flip flops back on.
"Did you enjoy that?" Sammy asked.
"Yes I did. Very much." I said.
Sammy grabbed my hand and we walked around some more.

We've been here for an hour and a half now. Sammy and I have rode almost every ride except for the Ferris wheel. We passed some of our group while we walked around and they looked like they were having fun. We passed Taylor too and he was with Shawn, Jc, Carter, and Cam. We're currently sitting at a table sharing a lemonade.
"I've had so much fun tonight Sammy." I said.
"Me too Lizzie." Sammy smiled.
After we finished our lemonade, we held hands and walked off to the Ferris wheel. We stood in line for a few minutes since there was some people waiting and the Ferris wheel was slow.
"I'm so glad I'm here with you." Sammy said.
"I'm glad I'm here with you too." I smiled.
We got on the ride a few minutes later and it went up. We were on the bigger Ferris wheel so the ride lasted about 3 minutes. We were in the middle and I just loved being on this ferris wheel.
"This is so fun. Just here with you." I said.
"I love being here with you." Sammy said.
I closed the space in between us and he wrapped his arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder.
As we got closer to the top I grew more and more excited. The lights from all the fair ride lite up the the whole place. I was lost at words. It was so beautiful so I took my phone out and took a photo. Amazing. We got to the top and the ride stopped. I took my head off of Sammy's shoulder and stared out at the fair. I could see everything. I felt like I was at the top of the world. This is amazing.
"This is breathtaking." I whispered since I was in awe.
"Just like you." Sammy stared at me.
I looked at him and we stared into each other's eyes for a few seconds. His eyes were so beautiful. I could see my own reflection in his beautiful brown eyes. His pupils dilated slightly while staring at me. He put his hands on my cheek and stroked his thumbs over my cheek. I scooted closer to him since I was a little bit away from him since I backed up to take a picture of the lights.
I wrapped my arms around Sammy's neck and our lips were literally centimeters away.
"I really want to kiss you." Sammy whispered.
"What's stopping you?" I whispered back.
Sammy leaned in and our lips connected. I've missed his lips. Yes, we have kissed before but we were in like 8th grade. I felt so much emotions. Happy, excited, joyful, etc. Our lips moved in sync but the kiss was slow and passionate. We both smiled into the kiss.
I moved my hands up to his hair and tangled my fingers in it. The ride moved and we began going down to the ground. As we got closer to getting off, Sammy pulled away and we leaned our foreheads together.
"I've been wanting to do that before I left back in high school and since I got here." Sammy said.
"I've been waiting for you to do that." I smiled.
We got off the ride and Sammy wrapped his arm around me. We walked towards the exit and saw everyone standing there.
"Are you guys ready?" Kian asked and we nodded, still smiling from when we got off the Ferris wheel.
We got into Kian's car with Kian, Sam, and Acacia and went back to the house. I snuggled up against Sammy and we leaned or heads together.
"I love you." I whispered.
"I love you too." Sammy whispered back.
I titled my head up and planted a sneaky kiss on Sammy's lips so no one saw. Kian was too busy driving, Sam was staring out the windshield, and Acacia was looking out of her window.
When we arrived at my house, I hugged everyone and told them goodnight, then Andrea, Acacia and I went up to my room and I shut the door.
"Guys." I said.
"What. You're freaking me out." Andrea said.
"When Sammy and I were on the Ferris wheel and we got to the top, he kissed me." I said.
"Oh my god this is so exciting!" Acacia squealed and she grabbed me and Andrea's hands and we all jumped up and down.
"Don't say anything to anyone about it because I don't know where our relationship is going so I don't want everyone to know." I said.
"We won't tell anyone. I'm going to bed so goodnight. Have fun with Sammy." Andrea smiled and her and Acacia left my room.
When they left, I changed into my yoga shorts, one of Sammy's white t shirts, and maroon colored knee high socks. Sammy came in after I changed.
"Damn. You look beautiful as hell." Sammy said.
"Thanks Sam." I blushed.
Sammy threw his shirt off and climbed into my bed with me. He just slept in his jeans. Sammy pulled me close to him and I laid my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped my arms around his torso.
"Goodnight beautiful." Sammy said.
"Goodnight Sammy." I titled my head up and kissed him.
Our kiss lasted a few seconds before we pulled away and tried to sleep which seemed almost impossible because of how many butterflies were in my stomach.
