Chapter 169

(Taylor's P.O.V)
I remember Sammy. He was Jade's best friend and they were inseparable. He moved away and she was extremely upset, and now he's back. They're getting close again and it kind of bothers me. Now I'm not saying Jade can't have any guy friends, it's just that guys get super close with her and I'm afraid she'll leave me. It makes me so nervous and freaked out. Sammy was always a bit of a flirt and could get girls kind of easy, but he also didn't like take every girl that threw herself at him. He was a gentlemen but I know how easy a girl can fall for him.
I don't want to lose Jade anymore, so if I see her and Sammy getting a little too close, I'll step in there in a heartbeat. She's my girl.
(Jade's P.O.V)
I was currently sitting on the couch with Sammy. Everyone was telling Sammy everything that has happened since he left.
"Kian and I are still protective of our baby sister." Sam said.
"I can tell. Everyone has been protective of her but you guys are like more protective. I would be too. I'll start getting protective again. I'd hate to see her in pain." Sammy said.
"Seeing Jade in pain makes me so sad." Andrea said.
"I hate seeing any of you in pain. Life needs to be full of happiness and endless summer nights. I think that's what most people want." I said.
"Couldn't agree more." Taylor said.
"Why don't we go do something fun?" I suggested.
It was only 2 pm so we had time to do anything.
"Six flags?" Sam suggested.
Everyone agreed that we should go so we did. We had to take a few different cars though since there was a lot of people. I rode with Sammy, Andrea, Acacia, Kian, and Sam. We took Sam's car since it was bigger. Sam and Kian sat in the front since Sam drove, Andrea and Acacia sat behind them, and Sammy and I sat in the far back seats.
I began playing Sammy's hair since it was really soft and it was blonde and I want used to it.
"It's so blonde. You're brown roots are starting to show since your hair is growing though." I said and I messed with Sammy's hair.
"Do you like it?" Sammy asked.
"Yeah. It's a good look. I'm just so used to your brown hair." I said.
"You're hair looks good as well. It's always straight and feels like feathers cause it's soft." Sammy said and we both laughed.
"I really do like your hair. And your eyes, and your smile." I said.
"I know. I'm just so lovable." Sammy said.
"Cocky much?" Sammy and I both laughed.
"I like your smile and eyes too. Your eyes are that icy blue color that just looks so cool." Sammy said.
"When I was younger, they were a darker blue but as I got older they lightened up." I said.
Me and Sammy's conversations get so weird sometimes.

About an hour later we arrived at Six Flags. The car ride was full of Andrea, Acacia, Sam, Kian, and Sammy and I singing to Sam's phone which he used the auxcord so he could plug it into the car.
We met up with everyone else and paid for tickets to get in, then we rode some rides. The first one everyone wanted to ride was the biggest ride there. (A/N: I've never been to Six Flags so idk what's there)
"I'll stay behind on that one." I said.
"Fuck. We forgot you have a fear of roller coasters and heights." Nash said.
"Don't worry about. You guys go have fun." I smiled.
"But we don't want to have fun without you." Andrea said.
"How about I take Jade on the smallest roller coaster here and work our way up to the biggest." Sammy suggested.
"That's a perfect idea! We can go ride stuff while you help her." Johnson said.
"Alright. We'll be back soon then. Meet us right here by the roller coaster at 8:30." I said and everyone nodded.
I kissed everyone on the cheek, then went to Taylor.
"We'll be back soon. I love you Tay." I said.
"I love you too Jade Elizabeth." Taylor pulled me to him and kissed my lips.
The kissed lasted about 4 seconds before he pulled away.
"Go have fun." Taylor smiled but I could see some hurt in his eyes.
Sammy and I began walking and I mouthed 'I love you' to Taylor before walking away. Sammy took me to the smallest roller coaster and we went on it. The line was short since its 3 pm on a Wednesday afternoon and there's not much people here. We got strapped into the ride and that's when my anxiety set in.
"Sammy, I don't know if I can do this." I breathed.
"Listen to me Liz, you're going of be perfectly fine. You're here with me and I would never lie to you about anything. You can hold my hand too. You're going to be okay." Sammy said.
"Thank you." I smiled.
The ride only had a lap bar on it since it wasn't very big. The ride started up and I grabbed Sammy's hand quickly. He kissed my cheek and the ride set off.

The ride had ended and everyone got off.
"How was it?" Sammy asked.
"It wasn't that bad actually." I said.
"See! I told you that you'd be fine." Sammy smiled and so did I.

Sammy and I had rode all of the roller coasters there except for the biggest one. We decided to get someone to eat before we went since we were both starving. It was only 5:13 pm so we had time to eat. We just ended up finding a small pizza place there and ate.
"This is so good." I said as Sammy and I ate.
"I know right." Sammy said.
After we are we decided to Jair sit down for a few minutes before going onto the biggest ride because we didn't think that eating and then going on a roller coaster right away wouldn't be the best idea.
We were currently laughing about how Sammy scared a guy off because he was threatening me back in my freshman year.
"I remember that! He got so scared because you threatened to break every bone in his body." I said.
"I would've thrown that guy across the halls for you. He was being a complete dick." Sammy and I laughed.
A lady who appeared to be in her 40's came up to me and Sammy with her I'm assuming husband and 2 kids. One looked around 8 and the other looked around 13.
"Sorry to interrupt you guys, but you guys are a lovely couple. You remind me of me and my dear husband when we were your age." She smiled.
"We're not dating. We're just friends." I smiled sweetly.
"Well, she is, I'm not." Sammy said and the woman smiled.
"You guys would be cute." The lady said and her and her family walked off.
"What was that Sammy?" I asked confused.
"Haven't you ever seen The Fault In Our Stars? Gus said the same thing when someone asked about their relationship. I decided to be Gus in that moment since I love that movie." Sammy smiled.
"You're such a nerd. Let's go on the ride now." I laughed.
"Let's go." Sammy said.
Sammy and I walked off to the biggest roller coaster and on our way I spoke up.
"Please don't mention the couples thing to Taylor. He'll freak." I said.
"I won't but why? He's knows we're best friends." Sammy said.
"Well, I'm Taylor's mind if I get close to a guy then I'll leave him. You have no idea how many arguments that has caused. Taylor will get mad at me, then go fight whoever was supposedly flirting with me. He'd go get into a fight with our own friends and I wasn't even dating him. We were just talking. We acted like a couple but we weren't. I hated it and it caused a lot of pain but now me and him are actually a couple." I said.
"Damn. He doesn't sound like a good guy. He used to be really cool, now he's sounds like an overprotective jerk." Sammy said.
I've never heard him get upset like this in a while.
"We've hit some pretty hard times but I'm glad it's over but if anything that dramatic happens again or he messes around with another girl, I will for real be done with his ass." I said.
"Hopefully nothing bad happens." Sammy said and I agreed.
"I forgot to tell you, but I joined vine months ago and I have fans and I make music now." Sammy said.
"Jesus Sam how could you not tell me that? It's like one of the most important things that have happened to you and you didn't tell me." I laughed.
"It totally slipped in my mind." Sammy said.
We arrived at the roller coaster and waited in line. I got a call from Sam as we were waiting.
"Hey brotha what's up?" I asked.
"Where are you guys?" Sam asked.
"We're at the end of the line for the biggest roller coaster. Want to join us?" I asked.
"Sure. We'll be right there. Love you baby sis." Sam said.
"Love you too." I said and ended the call.
Sam and everyone else showed up a few minutes later. The line wasn't that long for the ride surprisingly.
"Hey guys. Did you have fun riding everything?" Kian asked.
"Yes we did. It was actually pretty fun. I had a few meltdowns but I was okay." I smiled.
"Good. I'm glad my little Jay bird had fun." Kian said and I giggled.
"Bringing back Jay bird now bean?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Yes I am. Deal with it." Kian said and we all laughed.
"This ride has a few loops and big hills so be prepared Jade. It was fun though." Johnson said and I nodded.
Soon we all got on the ride and I sat next to Sammy.
"I'm freaking the hell out." I said and Sammy chuckled.
"Remember what I said when we went on the first roller coaster? I said that you were going to be okay and you're here with me that I would never lie to you about anything. It's going to be okay." Sammy reassured me.
These bars came down and over my shoulders and I jumped and started to breath heavy slightly. My feet were dangling so that scared me even more.
"You're going to be okay. You rode everything else so I know you can do this." Sammy grabbed my hand and held on tight.
The ride took off and went up a huge slope.
"Fuck my life." I said and Sammy chuckled at me.
"Just breath Liz. I'm right here and so is everyone else." Sammy said and I nodded.
We came to the top of the hill and it stopped.
"What the he-" I started to say but I got cut off by going down the huge hill really fast. I screamed and so did everyone else. The ride seemed to actually go pretty quick. We went around a few loops and a few more big hills and some turns and that was it. The ride soon ended and we all got off.
"Was that fun?" Johnson asked me as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
"Yes but that scared the hell out of me." I said and everyone laughed.
We made our way back to the cars and drove back home. By now it was 9:15 pm since we had to wait in line for the ride and stuff.
I leaned my head on Sammy's shoulder and closed my eyes. Sammy leaned his head on mine and I drifted off to sleep.

Kind of a boring chapter I think but oh well. I'm on a car on my way to Missouri for a wedding. Ugh.
