Chapter 165

(Jade's P.O.V)
Taylor pulled me on to his lap and I laid my head in the crook of his neck. Taylor wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed the top of my head.
"Wanna go back to your place?" Taylor whispered in my ear and I nodded.
"We're going to go back to the apartment. See you guys later." Taylor said.
I got up and hugged everyone and gave them a kiss on the cheek. I hugged Matt and Kian last.
"I love you baby girl." Matt said.
"I love you too Matty." I kissed Matt's cheek and hugged him, then moved on to Kian.
"Bye Bean." I hugged Kian tightly.
"Bye Jay. I love you. Have fun but not too much fun. You can only have lots of fun when I'm around cause I'm the life of the party." Kian said and I laughed.
"I won't but Shawn's the life of the party. He wrote a song about it. I love you too." I said and kissed Kian's cheek.
"You guys are weird." Shawn laughed.
"Love you too Shawn." I walked over to him and ruffled his hair.
I kissed his cheek, then went to Taylor's car with him. When we arrived at the house I collapsed on the couch and Taylor laid on top of me. He laid his head on my stomach and wrapped his arms around my torso. I played with his hair and he began to speak.
"I love you so much. I know I keep saying that but I've missed you so much and I can finally say everything to you. I missed everything about you." Taylor said.
"I love you too baby. I missed you too." I said.
"I fucked up so bad. You're going to leave me soon." Taylor said.
Taylor got off of me and sat at the end of the couch. I walked over to him and sat on my knees in between his legs.
"Babe, I'm not going anywhere. I love you so much Taylor Michael Caniff."
"I'm so sorry for everything. I feel so bad about it." Taylor began going on about how sorry he is so I decided to shut him up.
"I love you so much." I said and climbed onto Taylor's lap.
I straddled Taylor's waist and held Taylor's face in my hands. I pressed my lips to his and his hands gripped my hips. I pulled away and spoke.
"Stop apologizing. I forgave you so don't make me rethink it and change my mind." I said and Taylor nodded.
He pulled me back to him and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I pressed my body against his and he moaned. Taylor pulled away and spoke.
"I want to wait to do that. I know we've done it before, but we weren't a couple when we did. We were basically just friends with benefits. I want to actually make it special this time." Taylor said.
"I agree. I love you Tay." I said.
"I love you too Jade Elizabeth." Taylor said.
I pressed my lips to his and we both smiled. I pulled away a few minutes later.
"Let's watch a scary movie." I said.
"Okay. That just means you get to cuddle up against me when you get scared." Taylor smiled his cute smile.
Taylor picked out the movie Nightmare On Elm Street. I've never watched this movie so I don't know if it's really scary. I walked upstairs with Taylor to my room and began looking for my sweat pants since I was getting a little cold.
"Here babe. Just wear this. I have clothes that I've left here that I can wear." Taylor handed me the shirt he was wearing.
I took off my shirt and shorts and slipped on Taylor's shirt. Taylor changed into a pair of his Nike sweatpants and we walked back downstairs. Taylor played the movie and sat down on the couch. I sat next to him and stretched my leg across his thighs and wrapped my arms around his waist. I laid my head on his shoulder and he rested his hand on my upper thigh.
"I love you." I said.
"I love you too baby." Taylor pecked my lips.
The movie finally played after all of the commercials. It started and I snuggled against Taylor and he chuckled a little bit.
"You're so cute when you're scared." I looked up and saw him smiling so I smiled too.
His smile is so contagious. I'm glad that we cleared everything up and finally got together. I truly love this boy. I really do. I never thought that true love was possible but now I see that it is. Taylor and I have hurt each other a lot, he's hurt me more than I've hurt him, but we pulled through it and realized we need each other. I don't know where would I be without him.
(Taylor's P.O.V)
Jade snuggled against me and I laid my head on hers. I smiled to myself knowing that's she's actually mine. We were basically friends with benefits before and it really did bother me, but I finally just manned up and asked her to be my girlfriend. Thank god I did because this girl is my life. She's everything I've ever wanted. She's knows she's smarter than you but she's polite when you're wrong. She thinks she's ugly and that nobody would ever like her, but that's not true. She's the most beautiful girl I know and I'd do anything for her. If you stare at her for to long, her face will turn red and she'll look away because she thinks she's ugly. I pay attention to her completely. I even pay attention to the little things about her and I'm the only one that really notices these things besides her.
Her right pinky is a little bit bigger than her left.
She has the birthmark on her left boob that she hates. It's just a light spot that's barely visible but I think it's cute and she hates when I mention it. We're the only ones who seem to notice it.
Her eyes are blue, but when you look really closely at her right eye it's a little bit darker than her left eye. Only me and her have seemed to notice it.
She gets annoyed when people bite their nails.
That's only a few of the many little things I notice and remember. I remember these things because I love her and I don't want to miss anything. She once told me that it's the little things that are the best to remember.
She still has the promise ring I got her but she doesn't wear it. I still wear mine though. I bought her a new one that's actually for couples. It's silver ring with a small diamond on the top and on the inside the word "Forever" is engraved into it. I have one too but it's just silver with the word on the inside. I think I'll give her the ring now.
I detached myself from Jade and she sat up. I grabbed her hand and kneeled down in front of her.
"Last time I did this we were just friends and now that we're officially a couple, I want to give this to you until I propose but let's face it, everyone knows we'll get married." We both smiled.
"Jade Elizabeth, do you promise to stay with me for as long as possible and love me as long as possible, hopefully forever?" I asked and Jade nodded.
I smiled and slipped the ring on her finger I sat on my knees and placed my hands on Jade's cheeks and pressed my lips to hers. I pulled away a few seconds later and sat back down.
"I love you so much Taylor." Jade said.
"I love you too gorgeous." I smiled.
Jade cuddled up against me and I smiled. God she's so beautiful. I'm glad I picked a scary movie to watch because that means Jade can get really close to me and I love when she's close. I feel like I'm protecting her and I love that feeling.

(Jade's P.O.V)
Towards the end of the movie my phone rang so I answered it.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Jade." I recognized the British accent anywhere.
"Hey Joe." I smiled.
I felt Taylor tense up next to me so I leaned over and kissed his lips. I pulled away and continued talking to Joe.
"How are you?" Joe asked.
"Pretty good you. I'm just watching a scary movie with Taylor right now." I said.
"Sounds fun. I was just calling to check up on you.-" Joe was interrupted by someone.
"Hi Jade! I love you!" Dan shouted.
"I love you too Dan." I smiled.
"I'll let you get back to your movie. Talk to you later." Joe said.
"Okay. Bye Joe." I replied.
"Bye love." Joe ended the call after he spoke.
I set my phone on the table in front of the couch and cuddled back up with Taylor. He was being oddly quiet. By now he'd be asking what Joe wanted or something.
"What's wrong Tay?" I asked.
"Nothing." He blankly said.
"We've known each other for many years now, I can tell when you're upset." I said and Taylor sighed.
"I just don't like it when you and Joe talk." Taylor said.
"He lives a while away. I'm here with you now Taylor and I love you." I said.
"I love you too. Sorry for being paranoid." Taylor said and I pecked his lips.
"Don't be sorry. I worry about you sometimes." I smiled.
"I have a weird question for you." Taylor said.
"Ask away." I said.
"What's my ringtone?" Taylor asked and I smiled.
I played Taylor's ringtone which is No Control by One Direction and he smiled.
"What's mine?" I asked.
Taylor began playing my ringtone which was 18 by One Direction. I smiled and kissed his lips. We have lots of things in common, but we're also pretty different.
"I love how we're a couple, but also good friends at the same time. It's not one of those things where I feel like I'm just friends with the person, but you're also like my best friend if that made any sense." I said.
"It made sense babe." Taylor smiled.
