Fused these two because both came out short, way too short. So yeah, I did the fusing thing.

"Here, is it too tight?" (y/n) asked, tightening the straps that ran in a cross over Cole's shoulders.

"Nope, just perfect. But you sure he fits in there?" Cole asked, rolling his shoulders as he tested if the set-up was comfortable or not.

"Of course he does," (y/n) said as he looked at his work, a little basket on Cole's back where the baby could rest without having to be left unsupervised. "He's tiny."

Pixal and Zane meanwhile where watchibng from the highest point of the Boubnty, the side that was currently tilted up, and tried to peer around the deep jungle. "Any sign of Lloyd and Rumi?"

Zane answered Pixal with a shake of his head. "Negative. Should we gather a search party?"

"In this jungle, it's better to stay with the Bounty. Let's get her mended and the computer up and running so we can reestablish our comlink."

Zane nodded, jumping down while Pixal stayed in her spot, the white ninja walking over to where Cole was currently leaning over the railing while rocking the baby, (y/n) had moved to follow Zane instead.

"What do you think the baby's name is? You think he looks like a Cole Jr.?" He asked Jay, who was down below fixing up the left broken thruster, while Kai was fixing up the safe guards right above it.

"I think you should put the baby down and help us out." Jay grumbled, clearly annoyed. "Okay, Zane, give it another try!"

He spoke into the intercom, referring to test if the new thruster would work, but Zane didn't receive the message.

"Oh, Jay's trying to contact you, I think." (y/n) said as he leaned out of the control room, hearing Jay's voice.

"Jay? What is it?" Zane tried to answer, but his ears were only filled with static.

And the same was for Jay and Kai, who also tried to use the coms. "Zane? Come in, Zane."

"Oh, great. Now the radios aren't workin-" Jay was just groaning again, when a loud roar echoed from the forest.

(y/n) came back outside to check and was met with the others just been confused and worried.

Cole plopped the baby into his carrier. "What do you think that was?"

"Probably just some cute little critter?" Kai chuckled awkwardly.

"Or a big critter." Jay shuddered. "A great big vicious critter with lots of teeth and claws and pinchers.

"You can't tell all that from how it sounds." Cole deadpanned.

"Oh, yeah? If you listen real carefully..." Jay whispered and went quiet, so did the others as they listened, before a loud beep in their ears made them nearly jump out their skins.

"What is going on over there?" Zane's voice called, it seemed that the coms were fixed now.

(y/n) pat the shoulder of Cole, who sighed in relief after the scare, then started preparing some tea for the baby. After figuring out his tastes, they stuck with it, but kept the tea rather lukewarm after the initial boiling process, so the baby wouldn't burn his tongue.

"Nothing," Kai sighed. "Any luck reaching Lloyd?"

"Pixal and I have only been able to repair the shortwave comlink." Zane informed, him and now Pixal too at the control room trying to repair the map, which was not doing great, much like all the other electronics of the Bounty. "It appears we won't be able to find them until we get the Bounty over these trees. Ready to test the thrusters?"
