Curseworld Part II

So sorry this took until the very end of the week, but I screwed myself over one of the scenes, and ended up improvising through it, but it turned much better. More stuff in the A/N at the very end of the chapter, see you there.

The moment the pawn shop started breaking apart all by itself, the ninja knew what was coming next couldn't be anything good.

"Whoa!" Jay couldn't help but let out as he saw the... the thing rise from what was left of the pawn shop.

"What... is that thing?" Kai's breath hitched for a moment as the team followed Jay's gaze, staring up at the monster straight out of a horror movie.

"She's the Preeminent. The physical manifestation of the entire Cursed Realm." Zane kept a level head as he quoted Pixal's answer to the others.

"I know one thing, she ain't pretty." Cole let out, eyes locked on the monster, while one of his hands rested on (y/n)'s back.

(y/n) was the only one who wasn't looking at the Preeminent in shock. He was staring at the ghosts that came out of the Queen's mouth.

Jay seemed to have noticed it too, "Ew, gross! I'm about to lose my lunch!"

Everytime a ghost accidentally took a dip in water or collided into Cole's Deepstone motorcycle, they poofed out of Ninjago. And after a minute or so, they would be spat back into existence via the Queen of the cursed. ...Yep, a whole another problem had shown itself.

Nya clenched her fists, "If we can't stop that, we might lose Ninjago!"

"Not might, will." (y/n) corrected, only making Nya's eyes sharpen even more.

Without saying a word, Nya shot water at the Preeminent, the others following her example.

"Fire!""
"Lightning!"
"Ice!"
"Earth!" But none of it seemed to make a difference. The preeminent had no eyes to see the Ninja with, but she definitely had a sense of touch, as her tendrils slithered around, wincing at sudden sensations and tearing down anything that she considered to be in her path.

But the monster seemed to not have even noticed she was being attacked. That's how little the Elemental powers could do...

"She didn't even notice that." Zane stated as Jay stomped his foot down on the dock.

"Oh, I hate unbeatable creatures!!" Jay yelled in frustration.

Cole didn't want to, but he forced himself to let go of (y/n), pushing him back and calling out so the others heard him too.

"(y/n), find Wu and Misako, we'll try to hold this so called 'Queen' back."

Ronin seemed to have some luck. He had found the Sword of Sanctuary buried under the piles and piles of money he had dropped onto his own shop. It was unfortunate the sacrifice had been for naught. 

"Hurry, on board!" Ronin urged civilians to board a ferry that was parked on the docks. It was already filled with families worrying for their home and their lives, but they couldn't leave a soul behind.

"This way!" Wu and Misako were also helping, until Misako's attention turned to something, actually, someone else.

"Look, it's Lloyd!" Just her exclamation made the two others light up, but when they turned to look, their expressions fell.

"That's not Lloyd." Ronin stated as he pulled back his sword, still guiding the citizens of Stiix, but this time keeping his eyes on Morro, who was being transported by one of the Preeminent's limbs.
