AKA I write random shit because I thought it was sweet and put the plot second. AKA had to go back to chapter The Royal Blacksmiths for this one.
The Bounty landed in the sea, hidden away by the south-west coast where not even fishing boats sailed to, thanks to the rocky pillars coming out of the sea. The place was also covered in a light mist. All those were remains from the day Ninjago split in two, though the info got the team thinking of their past adventures, the bad parts.
Harumi, hair hidden under a green hooded jacket she had gotten from Lloyd, eyed the place skeptically, even with worry. "Is this where we'll be living?"
"Just until we know you're safe." Lloyd tried to ease her mood with a smile, but Harumi didn't seem convinced.
Under the borrowed jacket, she wore part of her royal kimono, though modified with (y/n)'s help. Now it acted as more of a shirt than anything.
Harumi's leg tapped the deck just once as she adjusted the pant sleeve of the green sweatpants, this time borrowed from the bottom of Nya's closet. Though they were slightly baggy on the princess anyway.
"Don't you have a headquarters?" Harumi questioned.
"It's too in the open." Lloyd put a hand carefully on her shoulder. "The Sons of Garmadon will be looking for you. We'll need to keep moving."
Lloyd moved away, then gently took Harumi's hand and pulled her along to the upper deck where the others were, only letting go of her when he locked eyes with a nearly grinning (y/n).
"So, Harumi, looks like we're gonna be... roomies for a while." Cole, who was with (y/n) Kai, tried his hand at conversation, as the team had agreed to make the obviously stressed princess feel a little more welcome to their home-boat.
Lloyd furrowed his brows a bit, but couldn't get mad, knowing the effort was there. Harumi smiled, first awkwardly, then suddenly a little more sincerely.
"You have all been so gracious to take me in since our palace was..." She hesitated, frowning, "Taken away, and-"
"You're safe with us." Jay cut him off, giving an comforting grin, or at least that's what he meant to do.
"That assumption is not entirely justified, Jay." Zane said, looking very serious. "We know very little about the Sons of Garmadon's full capabilities."
"We know nothing about them. Period." Kai commented with a huff.
"We do know they're after the three Oni Masks." Nya, from in front of the screen in the middle of the room, sighed. "Unfortunately, they already have two of them."
"Pixal scanned everywhere for the third mask, but it came up empty." Zane continued. "It's as if... it never existed."
"Then we need to focus on who's giving the orders." Lloyd hummed. "A group this organized must have a leader."
"Maybe someone from our past?" Jay tilted his head.
"Uh, forgive me," Harumi suddenly spoke carefully, mainly to Lloyd, as she pointed to something blue on the panel next to the computer controls. "But is that... underwear?"
Like lightning, Jay swooped in and grabbed it from the panel and hid it behind his back, laughing awkwardly. "We're usually more organized. Ahem. But our leader got lost in a time streak." (y/n) slapped Jay's arm. "Ouch! Uh, they're Cole's."
"They're blue!" Cole let out in his defense as Kai laughed heartily.
"You're lucky they're not yellow." He nudged Harumi, earning a concerned chuckle from her while Nya shook her head, though she was smiling with amusement.
