Welcome welcome! Since I just finished another season, I'm making a quick extra here before moving onto season 6. This one is actually formed together with the help of @The1insomiac1Shiro here on Wattpad! Thank you so much dear!!!
This extra itself is a villain AU! Idea provided by Shiro, as mentioned before, though I did my creative liberties to spice things up. Read to find out, but I'll just lay out that at in this extra, it has already been a while since (y/n) turned into a bad guy. Now onward we go!
The monastery was quiet, much like it usually was at this time of the evening. Everyone's training had stopped, and they were tired. Constant noise would have just gotten on their nerves.
Kai, Cole, Zane and Jay had made an agreement many days before, that after training was the quiet hour. Just one hour of no unnecessary loud noise.
Jay was biting down on a pen, glancing at Cole, who in turn glanced at them. It was a quiet competition, who managed to finish a crossword puzzle first.
Cole seemed to suddenly figure one out, and he quickly wrote it down, before mouthing the words 'take that,' to Jay.
Zane was cracking eggs carefully, baking something with his favorite pink apron on while Lloyd tried to peek up on the counter. Sadly, his little feet didn't raise him far.
The quiet however was broken by a sharp beeping sound. Kai, sprawled across the couch, bolted upright. "What now?" he groaned, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
Nya rushed into the room, her face full of distress. "The Bounty's alarm went on, come on!"
Without a second thought, the team jumped up and rushed to the Bounty, where the screens were blinking with alarms and alerts, all from Ninjago city.
"What is it?" Jay asked as Nya rushed to the computer, pressing buttons left and right as the noise finally quieted down.
"Seems to be from Ninjago city. Tons of destruction in the eastern part of town. Tons of injured people too, but nothing more than that." Nya stated, then glanced over at the ninja.
"Someone turn the tv on!" Nya's last call made Zane rush over to a second screen, and with a few button presses, it turned on live feed from Ninjago City.
Gayle Gossip's report went mostly ignored as the Ninja spied at the camera footage, before finally catching glimpse of who today's villain was.
"It's..." Jay's words stopped somewhere on their way, leaving the speaking turn for Cole.
"(y/n)! He's back!" Cole couldn't help but smile. Though the camera feed was shaky, the one standing amidst the destruction and chaos was definitely (y/n).
Cole's smile soon fell as Kai whacked him on the back of his head.
"Don't be happy about that! Don't you see what he's doing to the city!" The red ninja let out, motioning to the camera feed. But right then, (y/n)'s eyes turned to the camera. He showed a strange, happy smile straight to them, but his eyes were obscured as smoke covered the image more and more, until the camera signed itself out completely.
No more video feed to motion to, Kai lowered his hand while Cole spoke, almost laughing.
"That can't be his doing. Last time we fought him all he managed to do was burn.... two or three houses, but nothing more. He can't be the one destroying entire city blocks!" Cole stated, and Nya and Jay seemed to believe him. Unfortunately Zane brought him the bad news.
