"Ahoy again, me hearty! 'Tis a fine sight to lay me eyes upon ye once more. Hope ye've been sailin' smooth seas! As for meself? Aye, I reckon I've seen better days, seein' as me doubloons be runnin' a wee bit low. But fret not, matey, I'll manage just fine, after all, I be a pirate!" (Skips off) "Do what ye want 'cause a pirate is free, ye are a pirate!"

(y/n) never suspected getting into legal trouble was this... infuriating. of course, (y/n) had been angrier, but this was definitely up there. The constant clink-clank sound of chains and handcuffs didn't help either.

Rows of inmates were both on their left and their right, hitting the cell bars with whatever objects they had while shouting at the ninja and at the prison guards.

It was an annoyance, but the worst thing of all was that even if all the people here were bad guys, the ninja couldn't lay a hand on them. (y/n) knew what most prisons were like, but the last time they were here, he had definitely gotten the same feeling he gets from prisons in movies, like a place where everyone gets beat up. All that gave (y/n) a sense of relief was the fact this wasn't a movie, it was real life.

the rest of the team, expect for Cole, looked anxious. They turned their heads left and right, but they couldn't keep track of the inmates on both sides at the same time. (y/n) had asked them to relax, or at least look more relaxed, but his words seemed to go on deaf ears.

As they were walking, of course being led to their cell by the Kryptarium's lead warden, Mr. Noble, Nya placed a hand on Jay's shoulder. She seemed to have done it to both ease her nerves, as well as Jay's, since he look twice as terrified as the water ninja.

At first Jay was taken back, but seeing it was Nya, a smirk grew on his face. Yet it disappeared in a second, as he tripped on the chain at his leg that kept the ninja all tied together.

"Whoa! Ugh..." The group stopped for a moment as Cole pulled Jay up by the back of his neck.

"Don't look scared, look mean! You gotta look hard in a place like this." Cole 'adviced' Jay, who took one look at Cole's 'tough' expression, then clenched his teeth and furrowed his brows.  His attempt look more  than convincing.

"Meat, fresh meat." Some inmate growled, not worrying at all.

"Ah!" Jay shrieked immediately. He wasn't very good at following Cole's advice after all. The meat topic seemed to continue among the inmates, but thankfully Warden Noble spoke up.

"Don't mind them, they all get a little grouchy when they don't get their meat."

"Ah!" Jay let out another surprised shriek when a lunch lady with bright, lavender colored hair swooshed past him with a cart full of... meat. I guess the meat talk had been pretty literal then.

The lunch lady rang a triangle, somehow getting the inmates to somewhat quiet down before she started serving each of them their lunch.

The meat chanting could still be heard however, and since the inmates' attention was drawn to food, the ninja scurried after Warden Noble twice as hastily as before.

"Kryptarium Prison, we've been here before, but as guests, never inmates. Yet I don't remember it being this crowded." Zane, the only totally calm one, wondered aloud.

"It's only natural. Even if the crime rate in Ninjago goes down thanks to us, the number of criminals doesn't change." (y/n) gave him a short answer, before glancing behind himself. "It seems like this place is more of a general prison than the special 'ultra security' facility it was before."

Back at the front of the group, Lloyd tried to pull his handcuffs apart, but it was went about as well as expected... which means it didn't work.

"You can try, but those shackles are made of Vengestone." Warden Noble explained, not really offended that Lloyd had tried to free himself right in front of him. "Pretty good for shutting down your powers, and makin' sure you," Warden Noble glanced at Cole. "-don't ghost out of here."
