I'm sorry... me brain has run out of pirate jokes.
Jay mopped the deck, all the while he tried to hide the fact he was slightly leaning on the broom. He was tired, that was no lie. The metal ball chained to his ankle didn't help either.
"Looks like you missed a spot." Nadakhan, who was floating around him, spoke in a teasing voice, then casually knocked over Jay's bucket of water. (He spills Jay's bucket of water. A few pirates, who were just walking past them, laughed, then walked away.
Jay meanwhile sighed. "I'm not gonna say it."
"Say what?" Nadakhan said back, as if it wasn't obvious. "That you can wish it all away? Well, you can. You've already made your first two wishes, you have one left."
As he spoke, he crept towards Jay, but the blue ninja stood his ground and didn't falter.
"I'm done with wishes. My friends will come for me!"
"I hope so." Nadakhan grinned. "The more of you my Djinn Blade collects, the stronger I become."
"Then, why don't you just... whoosh, slice, hiyaah-!" Jay emphasized his 'words' by swinging his broom like a sword," -and just hit me with that thing? Uh, not that I'd prefer that, so please don't. Please don't." Jay ended with an awkward chuckle.
For a moment Nadakhan looked like he might do just that, but held himself back. "If I do it that way, the Djinn Blade will only absorb you, not your whole essence." Jay didn't quite understand what Nadakhan meant, and Nadakhan saw this. "Simply put, it isn't ideal."
Then he continued. "Creating a world from scratch takes a lot of hard work. Djinjago would get done a lot sooner if everyone pitches in, if you know what I mean."
The one thing Jay appreciated about his current situation was the fact Nadakhan liked to monologue, spilling all of his plans as long as Jay pretended not to pay attention to him.
"Care to say hello to your friends? Wish it. Wish it all away and join them. Wish it and you'll never have to pick up another scrub brush again." Nadakhan was trying really hard.
Unfortunately, Jay stood to his word. He was done with wishes. "If I didn't have this Vengestone ball and chain, I'd zap you clean off this ship!"
He yelled and pointed at Nadakhan, and the crew around them stopped to stare.
"Hmm." Nadakhan hummed with a smile. "I can see why she once liked you. You're stronger than you appear. But I know it's all an act."
The Djinn got way too close to Jay physically, as he tended to do. "Deep down, you're scared. You know you're weak. You make jokes to mask that you're afraid. That's why you didn't do anything when she said she didn't want you anymore."
"Still not gonna say it!" Jay said, even though Nadakhan's words were already ringing in his ears.
Nadakhan glared at Jay's back as the blue ninja continued mopping the floor. Without turning away, Nadakhan called to Flintlocke. "When he's done swabbing the deck, make sure he swabs the entire hull."
Flintlocke stopped in surprise. "The bottom of the ship, Captain?" He confirmed like he couldn't believe it. Nadakhan nodded.
:D
Jay scrubbed the bottom of the flying ship, though every not and then he was just hanging from the wooden boards, weighed down by the ball and chain on his ankle.
"You're not afraid, are you, funny man?" Nadakhan called to him from the deck. Jay clenched his teeth, but pulled himself up and continued scrubbing.
