Yar, har, fiddle de dee, indeed! Heh... Okay, my pirate counterpart isn't currently here, but I fear he'll be back soon. Anyways, this is the most proud I've been of my work in a while, like damn. This chapter is long and well paced, perfectly balanced! I hope you guys like it as much as I did, make sure to vote and leave tons of comments too!
The police headquarters had never been busier.
"Find me those ninja!" The police commissioner was barking out orders left and right, pointing this way and that way and taking donuts away from those who he thought were slacking off.
"They can't just break out of Kryptarium and completely disappear. I want witnesses, I want locations! These fugitives are ninja, people. They could be right under our noses for all we know!"
Yep, little did he know.
The Commissioner passed by Nya, who was disguised as a police officer, and didn't notice anything wrong. Some other police offices had looked at Nya in her extra large hat and fake mustache curiously, but no one had yet to realize it was her.
Nya dug threw papers as she whispered to her communication device on her wrist. "All right, I'm in their secured network. But I still need that password."
Jay stood on the other side of the room in a police uniform a size too small, but it was still doing a decent job of concealing his identity. He had a fake mustache too, but this one was a bit bigger than Nya's.
"I'm looking for it now," he muttered, keeping his voice low while looking through post it notes stuck on space dividers around them. "But I don't get it. Why do we have to hack into their system when we already have a Nindroid?"
"Because Nindroids don't know everything." Nya glanced over her shoulder at the Commissioner, who walked past her once again, before continuing, "And if Soto says the map is the only thing that can stop Nadakhan is on his ship, we need to find it. And find it fast."
Jay cleared his throat, deepening his voice as he called out, "Hey, real fast, what's the password again?"
The officer sitting in front of a computer opposite of Jay looked up at him. "The password is 'password.'"
Jay nodded and quickly leaned towards his communication device, whispering, "Got that?"
"That worked," After a second, she whispered back. The screen flickered as the database loaded. "Now searching city records for the last known whereabouts of his ship, Misfortune's Keep. Speaking of which, hey, Kai, how's Destiny's Bounty holding up?"
Nya once again whispered into her communication device, this time she got an answer from Kai.
"I got my eyes on it now, sis." Kai spoke into his communication device while eyeing the Bounty, which was had been stored at a repo yard.
"We sure could use it." Kai sighed, lowering his wrist before walking towards the wire mesh fence surrounding the Bounty. The moment his fingers grazed the metal, a shock ran through his body.
"Ow!!" He let out and jumped back just as Zane walked up to him. Kai saw him and quickly pointed at the fence. "Careful, Zane. It's electrified."
"I believe all of the signs on this repo yard made that abundantly clear." Zane spoke calmly, motioning at the entirety of the fence, which was basically covered from top to bottom with warning signs except for the spot Kai had stood in front of.
"Perhaps there's another suitable solution past this obstacle. Airjitzu?" Zane proposed, then flew over the fence, landing neatly on the other side.
"You don't have to sound so cocky." Kai huffed, but followed Zane's example and flew over as well.
