Lara comes from a muggle born family and was born and raised in London, England. She received her letter of admission to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of 15 and entered as a fifth year student due to her unique ability to wield ancient magic.
Lara has an older brother, Louis Radley. He is five years older than her and is in the police force, living and working in London. He is married to Cecilia Radley.
Lorna and Howard, Lara and Louis' parents, both work in accounting at a busy firm in London.
