Sebastian's POV

The disadvantage of falling asleep with an exposed ceiling and staring at the stars was being awoken by the sun beaming down onto you. Though, it was probably a blessing as we both had to be up early for classes anyway.

I tried to gently peel myself away from Lara and not disturb her, but it didn't work. As I tried to roll her gently, she blinked and opened her eyes, rubbing them as she adjusted to the rays of light that were beaming down on her. She was annoyed by them, but the way it caressed her entire body had me admiring her a little longer than I'd care to admit. It kissed her hair, giving it a very subtle red glow. It tickled her porcelain face and made her very faint freckles more prominent. It lit up every curve on her body. What I wouldn't give to just begin kissing her all over, worshipping the very goddess in front of me that I get to call mine.

"Good morning." she drowsily spoke, her voice giving away that she was still half asleep.

"Good morning." I replied, probably too perky for the time of morning it was. I crawled back into the bed with her and wrapped her in my arms. "Sleep well?"

She snorted a laugh and nodded. "Too well, thanks to you."

She yawned and I admired her tired eyes, absorbing in every little movement she made. I wanted to remember the intricate details of her face, how her brows creased when she yawned, how her nose wrinkled, how her ears turned a slight shade of pink. Ugh. She was too perfect. How did I get someone like her to fall in love with damaged good like me?

"I saw your fingers turn blue. I must have done well." I commented, my hand tickling up and down her bare back.

"Well, I guess there will be no faking around you in the future, will there?" She sleepily commented.

We both laughed. I laced her hand in mine and lifted her hand in front of us, admiring each of the fingers that last night gripped around my own arms, almost begging for mercy but crying for more.

"Are you still going to see the Keepers?" I said softly.

She paused for a moment and squeezed my hand. "Do you think I should?"

"Well, I'm not going to tell you what to do, Lara. I do enjoy seeing your body's physical reaction to what I do to you but it's the anger that worries me. I don't want to see you hurt someone unintentionally or even yourself."

She sighed deeply and dropped our intertwined hands to the bed.

"I don't know what's changed... I had it under control for so long after Ranrok's defeat. I worked hard on it and now it's different. It's like it takes over me and I'm terrified."

"Then you should go. I will come with you." I offered, stroking her hand with my thumb softly.

She sighed softly and sunk back into the bed more.

"Alright. After 5 more minutes of cuddling. I love the way your skin feels against mine." she said, her face turning to a smile and pulling me closer to her.

She was right, it felt incredible. Her body was home to me.

Lara's POV

Dragging myself out of the comfortable bed from Sebastian's warm arms was absolute torture. The only thing stopping me from laying there all day was Deek's imminent arrival.

Sebastian had figured out how to alter the room with his thoughts and had a bathroom pop up, scaring me when the room started to churn and shift as he hadn't told me he was doing it.

"Your conjuring is almost as annoying as you sneaking up on me all the time." I exclaimed, stretching as I walked towards the new door.

He was much more thoughtful than I in his thoughts. He'd created an expansive bathroom with a similar ceiling to the one in the bedroom. The shower was large enough for the two of us to share comfortably and the bath was about half the size of the one in the prefects bathroom. Fuck, if I didn't have to leave, I would have had him in every one of the facilities in that bathroom.
