Jasper is a orange home-world gem that operates under the Diamond Authority. Jasper and Amethyst are very similar in build which leads many to believe that like Amethyst, Jasper was made in a kindergarten.A kindergarten is a place where bad gems grow other bad gems. Jasper has an aggressive personality and often looses her temper when others doubt or mock her power like Amethyst. Amethyst was not present during the gem wars but was still growing in the kindergarten. Jasper was in the gem wars thus she was created before amethyst. When Jasper meets amethyst for the first time she calls he an "over cooked runt" implying that she spent too much time in the kindergarten.This would explain why she is smaller and weaker than Jasper. Jasper couldn't have known exactly who she was since they never met. It is likely that the white hair that they share identifies kindergarten gems.In my opinion Jasper is a kindergarten gem that was perfectly created while amethyst is flawed and imperfect.
