My theory is that the second gem war happened around here. The older citizens of Beach city seem to have a certain nervous air around them and laugh uncomfortably when it is mentioned. In the picture you can see Greg, Kofi, Mr.Smiley, and the Fryman laughing nervously. When the laughing settles the Fryman yells too soon , indicating that a horrible event happened there and it was recent.
