On the water witch cover Greg has a drawing of Lapis. He didn't see her in Ocean Gem or Mirror gem so how did he know what she looked like? When a gem reforms they change there form. Lapis' first form matches the abysm art perfectly. This shows that Greg was knew her before and that she probably did the same thing. With the newspaper in Ronaldo's light house(mentioned in Lapis repeat action) it couldn't have been recent because pictures print in color now and not black and white.
