My theory is that the "Cookie Cat" song represents Rose. My explanations for the lyrics are in parentheses.

A refugee of an interstellar war!(Rose was a refugee of a interstellar war)
But now he's at your local grocery store!(Rose was on Earth)

He's a pet for your tummy!(Rose's gem is on her "tummy")

He left his family behind!( Rose left her family behind when she came to Earth)

At the end of the episode Steven says" Now sold nowhere." Showing that Rose is gone. Lion lickers replace Cookie Cats. Lion replaces Rose. Rose made lion as a companion for Steven. Bismuth is the gem of togetherness and overcoming loneliness it also is the gem of transformation.The bubble inside lion is bismuth and is what gives lion his powers. In "future vision" Steven says" Cookie Cat! I never thought that you could be evil!" I will let you draw your own conclusions to that sentence.
