I noticed that in "Mirror Gem" when Lapis introduced herself there were many circles(of water) around her and one diamond. The diamond is the gem part of her while the circles are the metal part. Also in the galaxy warp there are multiple circles and diamonds sprinkled in the warp. This could possibly be showing the Gems and Metals.
