Sardonyx is a gem that will make her debut in the third Steven Bomb (July 13!). I believe that she is a forced fusion based on the fact that when gems fuse they get a whole new name. Sardonyx is just sard forced with onyx. They would want to keep there original names because they are still the same gems just stuck together.
It's been confirmed to be Garnet and Pearl fused!
