CHAPTER 18

By the time Christmas was nearing everyone got into the routine of daily living, Kelzy had created more businesses and reconstructed more housing. She had fixed up everything Simone hadn't done over the years. Sapphire settled back into teaching the special kids and life with Kyle without dwelling on Darrien and Anya. Ivy the Savannah cat couldn't be bred so Kelzy brought her, but the rabbits went back home with Heidi.

The week before Christmas the family arrived at the Rezort for some downtime after months of being busy. Over lunch, Fran says "Nanny Kelz thank you for the new doll house."

Chelz says "Our dolls now have neighbours."

Anya says "It's so cool."

April says "We can pretend to be our parents."

Kelzy says "I'm glad you girls love them.

Jesse says "They even allowed us in there for a look, it's like a real house."

Barron says "That's ok, you lads have swords, daggers, bows and arrows and other things. Nanny gave yous the absolute best toys ever."

Thomas says "Wish we were that little to play in there."

Jacob says "Drinks are up for those that want one."

Carrie picks up a guitar and starts playing and singing. 

In the afternoon Venus says "Jules watch our kids, I'm going downstream."

Julius says "Can't we going upstream." 

Caz says "Sam and I have news to share."

Sam says "You all know we have tried many times and failed to have our own baby, well a few months ago we spoke to a sister and brother who were more than happy to be our surrogate. To clarify we used Carries eggs and my sperm, they were kept at the lab till the fertile eggs were inserted into Kelz."

Caz says "So with much appreciation, love and thank you we salute our surrogate Dom and Kelzy who have passed the danger zones."

Kelz says "And to top that off I had a secret scan yesterday so I could tell our much loved Sam and Caz that they are having quads, all babies are doing fine. I have a video to share with you all."

Darrien says "Yay I'm having siblings, I'm so happy for you both, after all the pain and heartaches you have been through I am so delighted. Plenty of room at my house for them to stay so you get a break."

Sam says "That totally means a lot. Bambi, did you say we having 4 babies?"

Dom says "She sure did."

Caz says "Where's the video I want to see them."

Kelz says "Blue, here's the USB."

Bev says "I would've said yes if you asked me."

Carrie says "We were going to ask everyone like this if Kelz and Dom said no, we went to them first as we all do."

Kelz says "The plan was to wait and start my procedure when Blaize and Zion were about 6 months, but I was so excited to help, that I started when they were just 6weeks old." 

Caz says "The babies will be born around 30-32 weeks, depending on their health issues and things depends on how long they spend in ICU."

Sahara says "What hospital are you having them in?"

Sam says "Here."

Caz says "There are 5 teams of specialists coming from the city, one for Kelz and the babies have a team each, they should be around 4lb at birth. Stan the new mayor is overjoyed to have Peterville's first ever quadruplets born here, but we have stated no news crews etc."
