In this new earth, there wasn't much time or resources for pleasantries. Or any sort of enjoyment for that matter. The only love or excitement was found with one another. So, what small pockets of humanity were left, become very close knit.
The resistance was no different, everyone knew everyone. You were well known for being sassy about authority or orders. You didn't cause trouble..humanity couldn't afford it. But in any way you can you'd rebelled just a little.
As time wore on, the resistance dwilendled..and the community became closer together. It wasn't long before you had met Leo. He admired your hard work and toughness, while enjoying your youthfulness, your playful attitude and personality.
It was so uncommon to find you twos personality types in this new world, it was refreshing for the both of you. You had met his brothers, and they enjoyed your company aswell..
As you two became friends, you made it a game to see who could inconvenience who the best. It was a little competition, something to focus on, something to look forward to. You both helped eachother out and as time matched on still, your bond become stronger.
Everyone at the camp you two resided at referred to the both of you as 'the old married couple' for how often you two got onto each other's nerves or bickerd. It wasn't long before you both fell in love. Oh how wonderful it was.
Something so sweet and pure, something so vast from what you were dealing with on the surface. It was a lovely distraction. But it hurt in ways to. You both knew the risk the both of you faced each and every day, falling in love, or becoming too dependent would only end in disaster.

The kraang was targeting him and his brothers, naming you as someone close would put you at risk, and he couldn't bare to have anything happen to you. Not now, so soon after his brother donnie. You had lost a friend, he had lost a brother. And right after ralh had been taken from you aswell.
Yet, you would find was to make his heart race. Be it by feats, words or physical contact. There was never a dull moment when the two of you were together. Dont think it was one sided on the teasing. He aged like fine wine and it didn't take much to maje your face red.
One day..you had gotten caught in an abuse for supplies, your team lost your caption and you took charge, you led everyone to safety that day. But as you backtracked to see if you had left anyone behind or you could save any wounded, you were cornered by kraang dogs.
You fought bravely, talking them out one by one with a sharp pipe you'd managed to find. But they didn't stop coming, and your body was getting tired. You fought, and fought, and fought. But it got too much for you.
You couldn't fight anymore. Yiu weed panting heavily, you had been wounded abd were loosening blood quick. You were surrounded. Hey, at least you had gotten them to safety.
Your mind wandered to leo. And you felt guilty.

The dogs attacked, and you took your last breath, with leo being the last thing you ever thought of.
