Graveyard - Yotuba's Grave

Kairo and Muigetsu were sitting down in front of Yotuba's grave.

[Muigetsu] So he died around two months ago...

[Kairo] You know...the reason I really wanted to go see him badly was because before I woke up from that nightmare, I saw him inside it and he told me to wake up. He looked at me and it felt so real, he was sitting in a chair, smoking, and it didn't feel evil, it felt real... He told me to wake up and helped me get out of there. I felt trapped and he saved me. I didn't know he was dead...

[Muigetsu] That must've been him officially parting ways...

[Kairo] We didn't even get to see him...I never would've thought he would be gone like this...

[Mugietsu] We both knew he was sick, but...he could've told us it was that bad. I didn't think he'd die this way, not without leaving us with anything.

[Kairo] We don't even know what happened to his things, Yotuba never really had family after what happened, he was like us...Who knows where it is.

[Muigetsu] They might've buried it with him who knows.

Kairo stared blankly at Yotuba's grave, biting his lip as it quivered.

[Muigetsu] You alright Kairo?

[Kairo] Yeah...I'm fine.

Suddenly Kairo started sniffling and tears poured down his face uncontrollably.

[Muigetsu] It's okay, you don't have to hold all of that back.

[Kairo] No! I'm okay. I'm fine! I'm strong! *sobbing* I'm strong!

Kairo looked down at the ground and gripped onto Yotuba's grave before sobbing, tears dripping down his face. He let out a loud cry, even Muigetsu couldn't stand seeing him like that and it got to him as well, causing him to sniffle, tears forming in his eyes.

[Kairo] *sobbing* Why!

In the distance, someone could be seen looking at them. It was Rin from Monkai, he had blood on his face and appeared to be scuffed up. Inside, he felt terrible after witnessing it, he couldn't even watch. He walked away and wiped the blood off his face before flashing out of view.

Meanwhile - Kairo and Muigetsu's Home

Katoichi was sitting down and thinking to himself, worried about Kairo and Muigetsu.

[Katoichi] The world is a cruel place...it's just out to get those two...they can't ever recover. They just can't and won't take breaks, they need time for themselves...

The next day - Monkai Academy

Kairo and Muigetsu walked through the doors after the first bell rang, both appearing to be devastated. While in the hallway, Rin stopped them in their tracks completely, not showing any malicious intent.

[Kairo] What do you want...

[Rin] I came to apologize from the other day, I came off wrong and I shouldn't have that's my bad. I didn't mean to be a shitty person, I was just joking with him.

[Kairo] Yeah...We should get to class.

[Rin] Are you alright?

[Kairo] Yeah, I'm fine, today just isn't the day...

[Rin] Yeah man, it's cool, just take it easy.

[Kairo] Yeah...you too.

Misuke appeared before the three, calling upon Kairo and Muigetsu.
