Waking up in a cold sweat, jolting up out of his covers in pure terror, Kairo arose. His vision was blurry and he couldn't seem to focus on anything in front of him, looking around and not a thing coming into view.

Seconds later, he felt a strong burning sensation in his eyes that made him scream in pain, covering his eyes with the palms of his hands. The only thing that he could react to was the sound of Katoichi's voice.
[Katoichi] Kairo!
[Kairo] *in agonizing pain* What's going on! My eyes!
[Katoichi] Just calm down!
Swiftly in worry for Kairo's health, Katoichi grabbed bandages from out of his pocket and wrapped them around Kairo's head, covering his eyes and blinding him.

[Kairo] *confused and worried* Katoichi, what's going on? What happened to me?
[Katoichi] You don't remember?
Kairo looked blankly for a moment, not truly seeing anything but instead thinking anxiously trying to remember anything he could.
[Kairo] *nervous* I-I don't know!
[Katoichi] What's the last thing you can remember?
[Kairo] The only thing I remember was being in a dark place and then something burst inside me that helped me defeat Kotaro, but that's it. Everything went black, and then I woke up just now.
Katoichi stared in shock for a moment, not saying a word.
[Kairo] *anxious* Katoichi? A-are you there?
[Katoichi] Kairo-
[Kairo] Wait a minute, how long was I out for...
[Katoichi] You were missing for months...
[Kairo] *flabbergasted* No way...that can't be true, you're kidding.
