Chapter 9: Just Listen

Third person

Maya walked back to her shared dressing room. All the guys looked at her as she walked in.

"You okay?" Roman asked concerned.

"Yeah I'm fine" Maya said grabbing her bag not making eye contact.

"It's just that..." Maya started but decided against it.

"Never mind" Maya said and went into the bathroom and changed into some jeggings and a green long sleeve crop top that stopped at the middle of her belly botton.

Maya grabbed her bag again as she left out the bathroom.

"Maya" Roman called as she turned towards him.

"Yes?" Maya questioned.

"I barely approve of your ring gear what makes you think I approve of this?" Roman said motioning towards Maya's outfit.

"I just threw something on Ro nothing big Plus it might as well be a full shirt" Maya explained to an unconvinced Roman.

"He's right" Dean said jumping in the conversation.

"Do you see the way some of the guys in the wwe universe look at you?" Seth added why is it 3 against 1.

"Fine I'll change" Maya complained walking back onto the bathroom.

She put on a short sleeve green shirt and walked out of the bathroom getting approving looks.

"Better now we can go" Roman said grabbing his bags.

"So what are we doing?" Maya asked walking out the door.

"First to the hotel to get everything else then we're hitting the road" Dean said putting his arm around Maya's shoulder.

"Sounds like a plan" Maya said as she put her arm around Dean's side.

Seth got on the phone and started talking to his girlfriend. Everyone got into the car Seth sat in the passengers seat as Maya and Dean sat in the back leaving Roman to drive. They drove to the hotel as Maya let A.J and Paige know that she's riding with the guys. Maya got the other two of her bags and stuffed her bags neatly. Roman texted her and told Maya that they were ready Maya hugged A.J and Paige bye even though she was going to see them in the morning. Everyone put their bags in the back and drove off.

They drove to McDonald's and got something to eat and started the trip. Maya grabbed her phone and got on twitter retweeted some tweets and tweeted and picture of her and Dean as he flicked off the camera. Then Maya posted on of Seth and Roman tagging them in it and used #roadtrip. Then she started getting bored and messed with everyone.

"Roman. Roman. Roman" Maya called falling dramatically on Dean.

"Yes Maya" Roman said laughing.

"Can I drive next please?" Maya begged.

"No!" Seth and Dean yelled.

"Come on! You never seen me drive" Maya exclaimed picking herself up only to fall back on Dean dramatically again.

"Next stop" Roman said and Maya had a big smile on her face.

A hour or two past and they turned on some of their rock and roll music as Maya put on her headphones.She was use to the Rock and Roll because Paige listened to it a lot. Maya's style was different she listened to it but not as much as R&B and hip hop or just anything that caught her attention. They stopped at gas station and Seth got candy and coffee while Maya went to the bathroom. Roman and Dean brought a pack of cigarettes. Roman and Dean walked out of the store only to see Randy.

The only problem they had with Randy is that he was trying to use Maya before that they were great friends.

"Dean, Roman" Randy said.

"Randy" Roman said looking Randy in the eyes.

"Let's cut the bull" Dean started but then Maya came out.

"Hey Randy" Maya greeted hugging Randy.

"Hey Maya" Randy greeted back they had small talk before Maya went back to the car.

"Just don't do it Randy" Roman said.

"Or you'll have to answer to us" Dean warned.

"Is that a threat Ambrose?" Randy asked.

"It's a promise" Dean said and walked back to the car sitting in the back with Seth next to him.

"Wad it do Joe" Maya said as Roman got into the car.

"I don't know how to respond to that" Roman said as Maya giggled in the back on his phone Seth smiled hearing her giggle.

Maya for the most part drove pretty well but it's the last thing on her mind. Dolph was right she needed to tell them.

"Um so about what I had to tell y'all..." Maya started but then someone's phone started ringing. It was Seth's as he answered it answer started talking to his girlfriend.

3 hours later
Maya never got to tell them about it. So instead of telling them she thought of showing them but realized where she hid her old cuts were to good to give away. Maya was currently her shared hotel room with A.J and Paige it was 8am. A.J and Paige were sleep as Maya read her book 'The Maze Runner' she was almost done her book. Then she started getting sleepy and fell asleep on the couch and woke up two hours later. She got dressed as A.J was on a date with her boo, Cm Punk.

Paige patiently waited for Maya as she got out the shower and threw on her workout clothes. She threw on a sports bra that thankfully covered her whole chest area she also threw on some shorts that came down to her knees and grabbed a jacket. Maya had on her beats earphones while she was at the punching bags. She stayed there for two hours unbothered and moved on to the weights then she did her leg workouts. After that she asked Dolph to help her she didn't even notice Roman, Dean and Seth there.

When she finally did notice she waved to them as they waved back then she turned her attention back to Dolph.

"So did you tell them?" Dolph asked helping Maya fix her position as he noticed a cut right under her sports bra.

"I can't find the right time, every time I try I end up backing out or something comes up Maybe it's not meant for me to tell them " Maya said.

Dolph ran his finger over the one cut that he sees as Maya turns around to face him.

"Is this new?" Dolph asked still rubbing it as if it's going to disappear. "No. I haven't been cutting since I got here" Maya said her eyes getting glossy.

Dolph noticed and pulled her in a hug as he hugged her tightly as she did him. Someone cleared their throat as Maya whipped her eyes she looked to see Summer with Rosa and Eva Marie.

"Pathetic if you ask me. What do you expect from a stupid bitch" Summer spat Maya was about to pounce on her but Dolph held her back.

"Watch your back blondey" Maya warned as she walked out the room with Dolph.
