Chapter 68: Stand By You

"And with that we declare a mixed tag team match and if you can't find a partner in the next 30 seconds then I guess you will have to fight the both of us on your own. I mean you wanted to fight on the men's roster so bad here's your chance" Lana said and laughed.

Maya's eyes watered but she fought the tears as she crawled to the other side of the ring and coughed up more blood as it clogged up her throat. Everyone stopped and was watching the TV backstage seeing the condition Maya was in. Everyone in shock and how the match wasn't called off. Nikki ran to find Roman, Dean and Seth because they weren't watching the television. All 3 men ran out there only to have Finn Balor, Sami Zayn and Dolph Ziggler out there. Lana and Russev looked at all the men lined up.

She first looked at Sami Zayn.

"Beat you"

Dolph Ziggler.

"Beat you"

Seth Rollins.

"Beat you"

Finn Balor as he was trying to help Maya.

"Beat you"

Maya pushed Finn away as she coughed up more blood.

Dean Ambrose.

"Never battled"

Roman Reigns.

"Never battled"

Maya struggled to stand up using the ropes as Seth came to her side.

"You don't have to do this" he urged.

"Yes" is all Maya managed to say before leaning over the ropes coughing up more blood.

Seth rubbed her back and Roman came in the ring as Dean got a napkin for her face. Her brown skin became paler.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Dean asked.

Maya could only mange to nod. As she tried to stand tall again struggling but succeeding.

"Maya you're not doing this" Roman said.

"Let's go" he added.

"No. I'm staying and I'm fighting if I stand alone or if someone decides to stand with"

"I'm not going to watch you kill yourself for some show"

"Then don't watch"

"Maya do you ever stop being stubborn? You're going to hurt yourself" Seth asked.

"Then so be it" she spat.

"He's right. I can't just watch you kill yourself" Dean added.

"Then same to you" Maya said and glared at all 3 men.

All 3 men looked at one another. Roman got in the ring as Dean and Seth sat at commentary. He helped Maya straighten herself up as she got behind the ropes. The  ref called for the match to begin. Roman went in for a quick powerful spear knocking Russev down and he went for the pin. Russev kicked out at 2, In an instant he tagged in Lana having Maya come in despite her pain she ran and close lined Lana, Lana kicked the back of Maya's legs having her fall on her head hard. Maya got up livid. With every move she ever seen and learned she attacked Lana trying to hurt her like her and Russev did to her. Russev tried to come in and break it up but Roman came in and superman punched him leaving him out cold. Maya tagged in Roman and leaned on the other side of the ropes still coughing up blood. She got out a huge load of blood that as now in a bucket. dean came and held the bucket for Maya rubbing her back and then she climbed back in the ring. Russev didn't lose yet and Maya tagged herself back in putting Lana in the Maya Mixer. Making Lana tap out. Maya rolled out of the ring and took the bucket from Dean spitting out the rest of the blood going backstage. Seth picked her up right before her legs gave out on her.

She held onto Seth as medical was already making room for her. Finding a way to sooth her stomach. As she continued throwing up blood. Later Maya left the stadium telling no one and went to an empty parking lot and sat there, her throat soothed itself.

"I don't need them to love me. I love me"
 
  Maya leaned back and closed her eyes. She started to drive again when she received a call. She stopped the car and answered the call.

"Hello" Maya greeted unsure.
"Hey Maya it's Jon"
"Hey Ambrose what's up?"
"Me and some of the guys we're going out for awhile and girls too, and uhh do you want to join us?" Jon stumbled to say.
"Yeah just send me the location and I'll meet you guys there"
"Cool"
 
  Soon the phone call ended and Maya received the message. She drove to the location and walked in to be greeted by everyone. The party continued everyone danced in the club. A random guy, came up on Maya as she danced with him. Their bodies moved in sync dancing as hard as their bodies could have hem move. Maya soon left the man only for another woman to take her place as she went to get a drink.

"Water please" She asked the bartender politely.

"Sure thang" The kind waitress said and got Maya her drink. She had red hair and tattoos all up and down her arms.

"Hey, just a heads up you got three cuties looking at you. One with half blonde half black hair, another dirty blonde and the last one a dark skin fellow with a regular" She said and winked at me.

"Shoot your shot" she added.

Maya look and seen that the bartender was correct. As soon as Maya looked the way of Jon and Colby they quickly turned away. The dark skin fellow smiled at Maya and waved her over as she had some of her drink and walked over there to the guy. He smiled and wrapped his arm around Maya's shoulder and leaned in close to her.

"What's your name beautiful?" He asked quite loudly due to the music blasting.

"Maya" she answered.

"Will but you can call me whatever you want" he said and Maya turned to face him.

"Hey Will, want to dance?" Maya asked.

"Let's go beautiful" Will said and pulled Maya to the dance floor.

They danced crazily to the up beat song and then a slower song came on.  Maya and Will still danced together on the floor. Then Will started getting all touchy touchy so Maya tried to leave him. But he kept pulling her back. She used all her strength and pushed him to the ground.

"Don't get back up" Maya warned.

Suddenly her hair was pulled and Will had it. Maya elbowed him in his stomach and he let go of her hair. Maya tried to leave pushing past people but she was pushed to the ground. She looked up to see Will again it wasn't a second later he was tackled and he was attacked by Seth.

Seth punched him knocking him out and dragged Maya out the door and to her car. Maya looked at him afraid of what was going to happen. He checked her face and arms.

"Are you alright?" Seth asked.

Maya nodded and put her head on Colby's chest. She refused to cry so she took deep heavy breaths. And clutched onto him for dear life.
