Chapter 70: The Will

As much as Maya and Finn wanted something to happen. They couldn't allow themselves to do anything. So instead they got ready for Smack down. Stephanie insisted on Finn and Seth coming to cause trouble. Maya freshened up and Finn and her waited in the car for Colby. He climbed in the back with his girlfriend both speaking. Maya drove to the arena and they all moved backstage to get some food except for Maya. She went to prepare for her match a title match. Two raw women are suppose to come to smack down well as a match against Becky and Taminia all for Maya's title it's time that smack down introduces their new womens championship. Unless Becky or Tamia beats Maya tonight.

Maya wore an all white two piece gear. Shane came into Maya's room and looked at her smiling as she did him.

"Ready for history?" he asked her.

"Always sir."

"No matter what you have to lose so one of the shows can show a new title."

"I know, I was just honoured to have the  chance to technically hold raw and smackdown championship at the same time."

"You're making history. You were the youngest WWE diva, joined the shield, youngest to ever hold the title, in amazing storylines, you're working both shows full time and ypu've connected with the WWE Universe in so many ways. You have a brighter future, I'm amazed to be working with you. Now let's get this show."

With that Shane left out the room and Maya smiled grabbing her title one last time. Maya fixed her curls and propped the title on her shoulder. She walked out as it was 8:15 and time for her match since it was going to be another female match later as main event. Maya was the first to go into the ring. She held up her title. Becky and Tamina's music hit and they were in the ring with Maya. Everyone thought that was it, the Sasha Banks music hit along with Alexa Bliss. The match was no disqualification. She held onto the title until the ref came over.

"It's time" the ref said.

All the girls came at Maya she fought regardless. Soon enough she was beating Sasha and Tamina everyone was down Maya went for the pin on Bliss then Finn's music hit. Bliss kicked out and kicked Maya through the second rope as she rolled and landed on Finn's feet. 

"What are you doing out here?"  Maya asked.

"I came for you"

"What about me?"

Becky and Sasha put a thumbs up and as if on cue Balor got on one knee giving a speech about Maya.

"Finn what the Hell!!" Maya yelled a moment later Seth's music hit as Maya was about to climb back into the ring.

"You need to make a decision!" Seth yelled.

"Not now!" Maya yelled. she rolled back in the ring breaking up the pin and then Banks, Bliss and Tamina beat Maya with a chair until she couldn't move as the refs came and tried to move Finn and Seth. Then 10 minutes later after they again beat down Maya Alexa but Tamina in her signature and the bell rang. Bliss was the new champion as planned. Sasha, Maya and Tamina looked at one another in disbelief as soon as commercial came Becky and Sasha helped Maya backstage along with Tamina.

"Ladies that was an amazing match truly I am proud of you." Shane said greeting them backstage.

All the women congratulated each other and went to meet Seth and Finn but they were nowhere to be found.

"I'll go look for them." Sasha offered and left.

Maya went to get a pizza and enjoy the rest of the show as she leaned on Tamina. Everyone was laughing and joking around when Sasha came back and a serious look was across her face.

"Get ready for something to go down for real" Sasha said and Maya looked at her confused.

Maya got up and Colby's girlfriend stormed in and slapped Maya. Sasha quickly got in between the middle of the girls.

"You're the reason he broke up with me!" she yelled.

In the distance Orton was watching and came over. As the whole roster was now watching closely.

"You're a home wrecker." She yelled trying to hit Maya again.

"There's no way he could've left you for Maya because she's with me" Randy lied.

"Well I hate to break it to you but she's cheating you! With Colby!" She yelled.

"There's no way because she's been with me all night." Randy lied again.

"I mean there could've been a lot of reasons he broke up with you for instance I heard you were bad in bed." Randy suggested.

She tried to charge at Randy but Maya pushed her down.

"I suggest you choose your next actions and words carefully. You know my work." Maya warned and with that.

The now ex-girlfriend of Seth Rollins walked out the building to not be seen again.

"Thank you Orton." Maya said.

"Anytime kiddo, see you in the gym tomorrow?"

"Sure thang."

With that they went their separate ways. Maya went back to her dressing room trying to change only to see Finn in the door.

"Hey dude what's up?" She asked as she undressed.

Finn looked up at Maya and smiled admiring her. Then realization came upon him as he looked at Maya.

"You're beautiful."

"It's been awhile since I was called that."

Maya smiled at Finn as he did her. Maya finished getting dressed as Finn was on his phone waiting for her. He grabbed her bags as Maya finished getting ready she straightened out her red long sleeve shirt and dark blue jeans as she gave Finn the keys. Her curls fell over her shoulders perfectly. She walked out closing the door only to run into Colby. It was a moment before any words were spoken.

"Hey sorry about the break up." Maya said.

"I should be apologizing. I didn't expect for her to act like that."

"It's fine. She didn't know. I'm past the drama. Ready to go?"

Maya led the way to the car with Colby behind her.

"I dropped her for you" Colby said having Maya stop in her tracks.

"You did what?"

"I broke up with her for you. You were right everything you said last night."

Maya turned to face Colby.

"That was a decision that you need to make for you, not me." Maya said.

"I did. I'm going to recollect myself and I'm going to get you Maya." Colby said taking a step closer to Maya.

"Rollins I'm not a prize. I'm a person."

"I know and I plan on treating you as such." Colby said killing any space between them.

Maya looked up gazing into Colby's eyes as he did hers. He seen a twinkle in her eyes that he never seen in anyone's eyes before it was something truly beautiful. Colby grabbed hold of her forearms lightly. Maya stepped back knocking herself out of the trance.

"Colby I-"

"Don't say anything just let it happen."

With that Colby was now leading the way to the door.
