Chapter 62: Happy New Years

It was Raw and everyone was here even smackdown people. I had butterflies everyone had their dates here and it was a special Raw. I did my makeup, hair and put on a white sleeveless top with a white matching skirt with burgundy lipstick with the matching temporary dye at the end. All of it fit my body perfectly and went perfect with my brown skin. I was ready. I walked to my car and Jason was going to meet me there and all eyes were on me.

It was so quiet you could hear the sound of my own heels hitting to ground. I walked to Joe's room where Glinda was with him.

"I can't do it" I said closing the door behind me.

Tears brimmed my eyes. My breathing quickened I tried not to cry. My heart was beating so fast.

"If you don't you'll regret it" Joe said.

He was wearing his ring attire. While Glinda wore a black tight fitting dress. I quickly blinked away the tears.

"Love we have a 3 hour show and it goes into our New years" He said.

"Goodness. I'm sorry I'll be back" I said and rushed out the room.

"Brie. I need help" I called to her and she turned around wide eyed.

"You look amazing" she complimented.

"I remember a year ago a young girl. So strong hearted so young now look at you" she said and I smiled.

"Still strong hearted and young" she said and I smiled.

"What do you need advice on?" She asked.

"How do I say 'Hey I'm in love with you'?" I asked and she laughed.

"Trust me Maya you got this" Brie said shaking me slightly.

"I'm scared" I confessed.

"Trust me" she said and smiled.

With every match that went past I had a glass of champagne.

Finally it was time. I was almost crying but I sucked it up. I walked out to my music I got on the ring.

"Going into the new I have some things on my mind and I'm going to do it like this" I started.

"Everyone on the Raw and Smackdown roster who has romantic feelings for me come down now!" I demanded and they all came to the ramp.

"If you have never won WWE world championship go to the back" I said and a few men went backstage.

"If you're not a blonde go backstage" I said and more men went backstage.

Dolph looked at me and smiled he knew where I was going with this and Finn sent me a smile as he was going backstage.

"If I was not in the group the shield with you go backstage" I said.

Dean and Seth looked at each other.

"Come in here guys" I said and my tears brimmed my eyes once more.

Instead of fighting them I let it go. The crowd cheered as my boys got in the ring.

"I wanted you to protect me from harm. I wanted you to protect me from everything" I started.

"What do you expect us to do? We did Maya. We did the best we could" Dean argued.

"I wanted you to be my shield." I yelled.

I looked at the clock that had the countdown for New Years. It was going to be another segment after ours so we have to get it done. I have to get it done. This isn't planned at all.

"I'm in love with you" I said looking at Dean.

"And I'm in love with you" I said turning looking at Seth.

I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. My tears ran down my face. Both men looked shocked I cried harder.

"I wanted you to be my shield. I've been in love with you since we were in the shield and the shield was ending. I've loved you both since. I'm sorry I know you're in relationships but I couldn't hold it in anymore" I explained.

I drank a glass of white champagne before dropping it in the ring.

"Happy New Years" I said leaving the ring.

Both men were still in shock
and I cried my eyes out. I grabbed my things and seen Jason. He looked hurt.

"This is why I couldn't do it" I told him.

He stormed off and I wasn't going to chase him. I grabbed my things and walked to catering.

"You finally did it" Nikki cheered.

"Yeah" I said laughing wiping my tears.

All my friends came and hugged me. From the male and female roster.

"Maya you're needed in the Office now!" Someone said and I nodded walking that way.

Hunter and Stephanie first looked mad then they smiled at me.

"Maya you bumped this story line from a 3 to a freaking 100" Hunter exclaimed and I smiled.

"We were waiting to give this to you. But here's everything" Stephanie said and stepped to the side revealing 7 big boxes.

"Are you for real?" I asked and they nodded.

I called Roman, Finn and Dolph to help me with the boxes putting them in my car. It all fit all 3 guys looked at me.

"You did it kiddo" Finn said and I laughed smiling.

"Yeah I did. Hey I'm going to go leave for my smack down flight. Don't want to be late" I said fake smiling.

"Thanks Roman" I said.

"For everything. Thank you all" I said and got in my truck and drive off.

I wasn't going to catch a flight too many people. I decided I was going to drive home. Home is going to be where I am for a few hours. I got 3 boxes and put it on my mom's porch hoping no one would see me.

"Hey" I heard as I was walking back to my truck I turned around and seen Michelle.

"Hi" I greeted back.

"Thank you and I'm sorry about everything" she said and I nodded.

"We're sisters for life. We're kinda stuck with each other" I said and she laughed.

"How long are you staying in town?" She asked.

"Well only for a few hours next show is next town over" I said and she smiled and nodded.

"How about you stay here for a few minutes and I'll make you some hot coco" she said.

"With pumpkin spice" she added.

She remembers my favorite? I walked in the house and locked my car doors. Only for a few minutes I'll stay and then I have to leave for he next town. Now Michele is being nice to me. I confessed my love for Dean and Seth.

What a new year this has been.
