The Paradox Prism is a mysterious powerful gemstone which is the main objective of Sonic Prime which Sonic have to find and gather the 5 Prism Shard before the Chaos Council find them as he traveled into New Yolk City, Boscage Maze, the Grim, No Place, and Ghost Hill. In my Sonic Expanded Universe, I headcanon that the events of Sonic Prime take place between the events of Sonic Lost World and Sonic Forces. Once Sonic fix everything, only he and Shadow recalled the events when the Paradox Prism reunited and reset everything before Sonic shattered the Prism. However, unknown to them they will eventually forget about those events when Mephiles escaped from his prison during Shadow Generations but had trouble thank to Vortech, Eon, and Maltruant as he not part of their plans of the Time War. Maltruant spared Mephiles as he ask for Sonic and Shadow to lose those memory which he did, Vortech despise this idea but have to go along with this. This moment eventually caused a new series of unforseen events to happen.

In the Cinos Adventure arc, Eggman have rediscover and repaired the Paradox Prism which led to him along with the Sonic gang as they travel into the universe of TMNT 2012 which led to Cinos to be born and created as a living Paradox as he have no past, present, and doesn't have a variant in the multiverse. The Paradox Prism was mostly used to travel to other universes mostly by accidents which includes Sonic Boom, Transformers Aligned, Ninjago, Legend of Chima, Chowder, Mixels, Kung Fu Panda, Monster Inc (via the Monster World), Super Mario Bros (via the Mushroom Earth), Minecraft (via Overworld), and foreshadowing How To Train Your Dragon (only the dragons and the two human characters Viggo and Johan are shown). After my version of the event of Sonic Forces, Eggman finally meet and was save by the Chaos Council as they tell him to used it to help them used the Paradox Prim and they will help him conquer Earth to be Eggman, meanwhile Eggman made Sage to learn about the island and Metal Sonic was repaired and upgrade as Neo Metal Sonic to take over for Eggman until he find him. Cinos along with his Savage Ravagers (except for Sticks due to them having a break-up) found Eggman as he shattered the Prism.

In my Cinos Isekai arc, the Paradox Prism have a bigger role as it shattered and absorbed into Cinos' body as he splits into him into multiple variants of himself. One variant have landed into a new universe or have return to a previous universe (TMNT 2012, TF Aligned, Kung Fu Panda, Ninjago) which caused that universe to change due to Cinos' presence and the Paradox Prism slightly retconning fanon which is headcanon. One variant Cinos landed in the event of Fire Force while another one landed in the event or Soul Eater, which take place in the same universe but Cinos cause them to split; meanwhile two variants of Cinos co-exist in the Helluverse as one hang the Helluva Boss cast while another variant is with the Hazbin Hotel cast as both groups are in the Pride Ring of Hell. Eggman new goal to to find Cinos and take him in hope to extract and drain the Paradox Prism from his body for his allies the Chaos Council.

In the Cinos Aftermatg and after escaping the destruction of the Pacific Rim universe and the Helluverse, the Paradox Prism was finally reformed within Cinos as he have all memories of these events he had but this along with using the Chaos Emerald to gain a super form caused his body to be damage and weakened him. Due to Eggman's failure, the Chaos Council take control of it as they successful capture and drain Cinos as they trade him for Shane, Cinos' father-in-law which helped the Prism now reform. Although they won, the Chaos Wars led the Resistance to win and have the Chaos Council to be vaporize, but this it not the last as some Prism Shard survive within the Sonic Expanded Universe and even some that were left behind when Cinos left. Many villain within or in other universe find these shards as it help them with their own objective and upgrade them & made them powerful with new powers, now the Shards have a more active role. In this this to give many villains better and more chance to fight Cinos evenly as Cinos can easily destroy and killed them. Finally the Paradox Prism was gathered once again but by the rogue Celestialsapien Vortech as he used it for his Super Genesis Wave along with the Chaos Emerald to repaired and restarted the multiverse and erased Cinos from existing along with three changes he caused but he failed as Cinos and the spirit of Shane stop the machine as caused the multiverse to Converge into a single amalgamate universe as the Paradox Prism is finally destroyed, with nothing but two shards survive into Ultron Sigma and Dark Khan respectively who are now Earth's new and greatest threats.

In the Cinos Next Generations, the Paradox Prism remain with the 2 composite villains but no longer play a real active role in the Converge Universe since they not the main focus anymore.
