I swung the front door open, slamming it behind me as I gasped for air. I looked around the living room, processing everything. Sweat dripped down my face.
      "Whats going on?!"
"Where did all those walkers come from?!"
"Oh my god wheres Rick and carl?"
       Everyone flooded me with questions.
"We need to go." I grabbed the Rv keys off the hook.
       "Wheres my son?" Lori screamed.
"I'm getting him and Rick! You all need to get to the cars and we have to go!"
"Go? This is my home!" Hershel exclaimed.
"Not anymore. Everyone load up everything you can, have your weapons ready, and ready to get to the cars."
"Where are you going?" Kay questioned, grabbing my arm.
"Don't worry about me. I'll get Rick and Carl. T-dog, Andrea, you guys need to try and hold off as many walkers while everyone gets to the cars... Get your weapons ready!" I demanded, cocking back my gun. My adrenaline rushed through me so hard I couldn't even feel anything.
"On my go... One, two, three!" I ripped the front door open. Everyone pushed out, working their ways to the cars as gunshots rung out. I bolted for the Rv, throwing the door open.
"Del!" Glenns voice squeaked. He sat curled up under the table.
         "Where's Daryl?"
        "I- I don't know, I lost him!"
I took a deep breathe from that information, forcing myself to remember Rick and Carl.
"Come on." I jammed the key into the inigntion.
         "Wheres Maggie?"
"Shes okay! We have to go!" I yanked him into the passenger seat, flooring the gas right through the fields. Walkers flew up against the wind shield.
"Oh god! What are you doing!? Oh my god!" Glenn screamed.
I whipped the Rv to the barn opening. Rick and Carl stood ready.
        "Come on!"
Thump! Thump!
"Go open the hatch!" I directed Glenn.
Rick and Carl rushed to the front.
       "Where's Lori?"
"Shes okay! We have to go!"
"Where's Shane?" Glenn questioned as I floored the gas. I had forgotten about Shane. Rick and Carl fell quiet. I looked at Rick in the rearview mirror, he was already looking at me. He looked empty.

"Up here, between those two semis, that's our meeting place." Rick pointed to a spot on the highway. I could see people gathered. I hoped and prayed as I threw the Rv into park, rushing out of it so fast I almost fell over my feet.
"Delilah!" Hershel opened his arms. I fell into them as Maggie and Beth each joined us, holding me in a tight hug. Everything around me was a blur, I couldn't see or hear anything else.
     "Where's Kay?" I looked around.
Hershel looked at his feet. My breath hitched in my throat. Not my sister. She was my only family. Not her.
"She... She was with Andrea.." Lori mumbled.
      "Is she alive?"
      "I.. I don't know."
I crouched, putting my face in my hands as I fought back tears. My sister. My only family left. I bit my lip so hard I drew blood as my hands shook. One loud sob escaped my mouth.
"She may just be taking longer. Andrea knows where to go." Hershel set a hand onto my shoulder. I nodded, wiping my tears off, my breathing shaky.
Vroom!
My head snapped up, seeing a motorcycle, Carol on the back... And there he was. He was right there. Daryl. They climbed off the bike and Daryl just let it drop to the ground as he ran to me, pulling me into a tight hug. It shocked me for a second. I could feel him smiling.
"Are you okay?" I whispered as I squeezed him back, tears still slipping from the corners of my eyes. Right there in his arms was the safest, most comforting place I had ever been in my entire life. Everything else just melted.
"I'm okay. Are you?" He still held me.
       "... I... I don't know."
He pulled away, examining my face.
"Thank god." He muttered, as if relief was hitting him realizing I was real and alive. He pulled me back into a tight embrace.

I leaned on the car hood, puffing on a cigarette as I stared up at the night sky.
"Hey." Daryl sat next to me.
      "Hey."
       "You okay?"
       "My sister could be dead."
"She could also be alive. Her and Andrea didn't have cars... Maybe they'll be here in the morning." He tried to sound hopeful but I could tell even he didn't believe himself. I just nodded, not even wanting to think my sister could be dead. I was so broken, so wore down.
"Come here." He rolled up my shirt sleeves.
       "What are you doing?"
"Checking for bites." He examined my skin.
I watched his eyes looking at my body, just staring at his face with so much admiration. His touch was so gentle, the most gentle touch I ever had. Even with his rough and calloused hands he was so soft.
"Hey," I said, he looked up at me, "I'm okay."
He nodded, pulling my sleeves back down.
He looked back up at the sky. I softly rested my head on his shoulder, intertwining my fingers with his. His hand slowly squeezed mine.
       "Thank you," he muttered.
        "Thank you," I whispered back.
