Leaves crunched beneath their feet. There was a heaviness in the air, it felt thick to walk through, too heavy to breathe. She felt like she was inhaling sand. Felt like she was fighting to push forward. It was heavy on her chest. They all remained silent, pretending to be calm. Del knew they didn't want to worry Maggie, but Maggie was worrying her.

She held her arm tightly around Maggies waist, feeling all her weight on her. Glenn on the other side. His head flicked around with every sound. They were all terrified, all jumpy.

"Rick, rick.." Glenn called out softly. Rick didn't turn to look, just continued forward. Dels eyes flickered to Daryl, whose head was down. She wanted to scream at him. She could tell he could feel it now, the guilt. She hoped all of them did. They all acted as if she was insane, but now they all had to live with that nervous pit in their stomach like she had for a long time. They all felt it, you could see it on their faces.

Del looked over at Glenn. She felt terrible for him, for Maggie. They were the two who she felt horrible for. Glenn looked petrified, looked so alert. Maggie didn't even look alive, her eyes were worlds away.

"Hey," Del whispered to Glenn. Even though they didn't believe her in the start she still felt some urge to ease their worry, to make them feel safe even if they weren't. "We're gonna get her there safe, okay?"

Glenn pursed his lips before speaking up with a sense of desperation behind his voice.

"It's go all wrong out here."

Crunch.

They all stopped, quickly and instinctively forming a circle around Maggie. Del could feel her heartbeat in her ears. It was so dark. Her shoulder brushed with Daryls, she felt him pressing close to her.

Then came the shadows, emerging out. No stumbling, no groans. Alive people, a lot of them, maybe hundreds.

Del drew her gun, not knowing with smirking face to aim it towards. Assault rifles, hand guns, knives, more people and way more guns than they had.

"What in the sam hell-" Abraham mumbled.

"Drop your weapons!" A voice called out to them. Suddenly she was blinded, a bright yellow light, she squinted her eyes, trying to focus them on all the people surrounding them. There was no way they could make a run for it, no way to fight.

Her throat went dry. This was it. No one would be spared. Her daughter, Jake, she would never see them again. She gripped Maggies arm tightly as all of their eyes fell on Rick. He nodded, slowly placing his gun in the dirt. They all followed his lead, kicking their guns over.

Before they could realize it they were being torn apart, shouting errupted, it was all a blur of people.

Arms gripped Del tightly as she was yanked away from Maggie. She thrashed, trying to break away.

"Let me the hell go!" She screamed. She could see Daryl over all the heads in a tussle. She was dragged over and forced to her knees. She looked up at all the people through her eyebrows, breathing heavily. Guns pointed at all of their heads. They were lining them up, they were going to kill them all, execution style. Just like Terminus. This was the way they were all going to die.

She watched as they yanked Maggie up from the dirt, dragging her over.

"Let her go!" Del attempted to stand but felt a pair of rough hands on her shoulders, pushing her back down. A low voice spoke behind her, right into her ear.

"You get up again and we put a bullet in her head."

Del stared straight ahead, and RV. Headlight beamed into all of their eyes. She was in between Glenn and Tara. She glanced at all their faces, of her people, they all either looked defeated or terrified. Del felt so much anger rushing through her, she could feel the blood pulsing through her veins.
