Hi everybody! Thank you all for reading my book so far; I hope you all have enjoyed it as much as I have written it. I just wanted to do a quick check-in. I'm writing this book for you! I want to hear your opinions on some ideas I have for the future of the book, and projects in the future.

For V&V - Rageous Road to Fame, I am interested in going a little more mature with the writing regarding descriptions. I am 18, and since the directors so far haven't specified the Rageon's ages, I want to take them as older teens like I am. I have decided for my book that they are 19 and have included adults in the book, even though Mount Rageous is supposed to be inhabited by teenagers.

I'm interested in feedback on if smut is wanted? I've liked what I've added so far; I tried to do it classily, yet still gives a sense of Ven exploring new experiences and feelings. I connect very much to both Kid and Ven and often write a lot of myself into their characters.

However, my personal preferences aside, this book is for your enjoyment. I have strayed at times away from the movie storyline, yet I wanted to keep it fun by referencing and creating personalities to characters like Jaye Bee and Rollie Roy, who we don't see in the movie except for their names listed on "The Bop on Top."

I care about this book a lot, and I want it to be worth reading for you all. I find it interesting to be able to write a lot of what I've learned for my first times in life, such as first fights, first heartbreaks, learning from mistakes, and learning how to connect and communicate. I want to really drive home Veneer, specifically, learning complicated challenges, having his own biases, and just exploring life as a late teen.

Being a teenager for me has been really fun, and I want to try to emulate that as much in my story as I can while still keeping it classy enough to be worthwhile to read. Many of my chapters have been planned beforehand, but I'll get an idea and add it to my book, which is where the Dom storyline came from. I reckon it's turned out well; it's been fun to try to humanize villains who serve so much cvnt while giving them chances to redeem themselves, as well as make mistakes. Life isn't linear and happy, and I think it's important to be able to read about good and bad times in life.

I'm interested in including a party scene with realistic experiences I've had at the parties I've been to, as well as giving Ven and Kid a chance to really experience a more profound love experience.

I want to stress, though, the importance of knowing what you all want. If smut and a more realistic approach to the book aren't something you all want, that's fine. I have ideas I want to explore, and they could be more graphic than what I've decided to write.

My goal isn't to come off offensive or crude; I simply find it fun to write instances of my life into characters I see myself in.

I have another idea for a book in mind for our V&V bunch, which I will delve into further when this book is at its end.

I appreciate you all SO much for reading; it makes my day to see people enjoy this story. My hope is for you all to be able to connect, at least in some way, to the characters as I have. I want this book to have its silly goofy moments, but I also want to appreciate when times get tough, as I feel that is something teenagers go through often, such as family and substance struggles.

So here are my main questions for you to think about what you want. I will obviously continue forward with many of my ideas, but this is a story for all of us to experience, so I want your input to help me make this book the best it can be.

1. Is smut wanted? Have the scenes of Ven and Kid getting more comfortable with each other been worth reading? I care about creating romance in a way I feel is more realistic, which means, for me, things happen and elevate over time.

2. How comfortable have we been with the mention of substances? For a kid's movie, Trolls has been pretty heavy. The references to drugs are very apparent: Ven and Velv literally have an implication of huffing trolls and almost killing them, trolls have been violently killed in the past, and characters like Tiny Diamond and Branch have been portrayed as using ring pops as a drug, which Branch shows shame for, struggling to say no and control his urges, before giving into using. I think that is a very realistic approach to substances and their addictive properties, and I am interested in adding more of that to my book. Poppy went her whole life and well into her 20s, never knowing she had a sister. Branch dealt with depression and losing family over something he, as a toddler, truly did not cause.

3. How do we feel about adding scenes where a teenager is often portrayed in media as "wanting to experience"? Parties, trying new things at said parties, experimenting in different ways with romance, etc. I want to make clear I will not be going explicit to the point of mentioning very adult things or specific "body parts." They, like myself, are still teenagers. I feel like I have a lot of sad and heavy scenes in the book as it adds drama, but I also want to explore Ven getting drunk for the first time. It's something many teens like myself have gone through, and it can be entertaining and interesting to see that sort of thing play out in a book.

4. Are you satisfied with the length of the chapters? Is there a way I can elevate the quality? I try to be descriptive and write in a way that lets you imagine what I see as I write, but also give you a chance to interpret things for yourself.

5. Lastly, what are things you'd be interested in seeing me write about in the future? I've delved into Encanto, specifically with characters that, at the time it came out, I was the same age as, such as Camilo and Mirabel. I'm not 16 anymore, though, and I no longer connect to their age groups in the same way. I, clearly, like to incorporate other media into my books, as I did with MLP for Ven and Velv's performances, 4-town from Turning Red for the Sage Boyz, Michael Buble as character inspiration for Rollie, that sort of thing.

If you've made it this far, thank you! I hope I explained where some of my thoughts around this book revolve and why I've decided to write things as I have.

I am excited for the future of this book and other projects to come.
