The day the Karasuno volleyball team was heading to nationals finally came. Himari was excited to see all her friends in Tokyo again. She even had a hard time sleeping which was strange since she slept through the fireworks during New Years.

Once she had packed all her things, she said bye to her grandparents and mom. Her dad was already in Tokyo to train his team and help out with setting up.

Kiyoko and Himari walked to school silently. Himari finished her granola bar as the two walked through the school gates. Himari noticed the bus that Takeda had rented for the trip and paused.

Kiyoko noticed that Himari had stopped moving and looked at her. She could see the apprehension in her face as she looked at the bus.

"Mari, everything will be fine. I'll be there with you."

Himari looked at Kiyoko with a smile, "What are you talking about? I'm fine."

Himari walked ahead towards the team and waved at them. Kiyoko shook her head and also approached the team.

"Mari, are you excited?" Suga asked.

Himari nodded, "I can't wait to see how you guys play against other teams. It's going to be so fun!"

After ten more minutes, Takeda clapped his hands together, "Everyone, get on the bus!"

Himari once again looked at the bus apprehensively. Suga, who was standing next to her, noticed. He pushed her forward a little, but she didn't move.

"Mari, it's time to get on the bus," he told her quietly.

Kiyoko tapped his shoulder and whispered something in his ear. His face turned into one of realization and he nodded. He tapped the younger girl's shoulder, causing her to look up.

"Mari, everything will be fine. You can sit next to me or Kiyoko if you want."

Himari nodded slowly. Suga and Kiyoko climbed on the bus and beckoned for Himari to also get on. She climbed the stairs slowly and sat at the front with Kiyoko. Yachi sat across from them and Suga sat behind them.

"I should've gone with my dad yesterday," Himari mumbled under her breath. She put her head on Kiyoko's shoulder and dozed off.

Himari woke up a couple hours later to screaming. She stretched and looked out the window.

"We're here, I should text Kenma and Tetsu."

Another ten minutes passed before they got to the dingy looking hotel they were staying in. Himari smiled and looked at Kiyoko,

"It's totally haunted."

Yachi heard her and shivered. Himari laughed as they got out of the bus. She turned to the others and smiled,

"You guys go ahead to the gym, Takeda and I will check in."

"Thank you!"

The two checked in and walked to the gym that Coach Nekomata had booked for them. Himari observed them for a while before nodding,

"They are so nervous."

She then turned to Yachi and smiled, "You're nervous too."

Yachi flailed her arms around, "How could I not be! This is a totally different league!"

Himari nodded, "Yeah, I guess so. No need to be nervous though. Some of our players will be representing Japan someday, and that's a totally different league."

Yachi nodded, a determined look on her face. Himari smiled and watched as Tanaka tripped over his own feet.

"Tanaka, calm down!"

"I am calm!"

This is going to be one long practice.

Later that evening after everyone had eaten dinner, Takeda and Ukai gathered them together in a room to watch a highlight video reel of the players.

"This is a collection of all your very best plays. Each and every one of you."

"Show us!"

Ukai showed Noya's video reel first and everyone was watching in awe. Himari giggled to herself as she watched them.

"Mari, I have a meeting with the coach now, and I know you're one of the last people I should be asking, but can you help Ennoshita keep an eye on the other boys?" Daichi said.

Himari nodded and ended her call with Kenma. She walked towards the room with players noticing that two first years were missing.

Himari made her way down the stairs and saw Ennoshita asking Tsukishima if he could keep an eye on Hinata and Kageyama while they went for a run.

"Ennoshita, I can go. I know the area pretty well."

Ennoshita let out a sigh of relief and nodded, "Don't overdo it. I know your knee starts hurting when you do."

Himari waved him off, "I'll be sitting down most of tomorrow, it'll be nice to get some fresh air before then."

Ennoshita nodded and told them to be safe. Not even a minute later, Ennoshita came with a bike and gave it to Tsukishima.

"Nice of you to join."

"Whatever."

Himari walked behind Kageyama and Hinata, while Tsukishima kept pace with them. She could see that the three of them were talking (more like arguing), which made her smile.

"I'm glad they aren't too nervous."

Twenty minutes passed and Himari and Tsukishima decided it was time to go back. Hinata and Kageyama began to whine, but one look from Himari caused them to shut up.

When they finally made it back, Himari went to take a bath. After she had finished, she went to the room to go check on the boys.

"Uh, hey guys, what's up?" She asked as she saw Tanaka on the ground with his hands on his head.

The boys looked up and stifled their laughs when they saw her pajamas that had cats printed on them.

"Nice PJs, Mari. Where'd you get them?"

Himari glared at them, "Shut up. I'm going to bed. Don't stay up too late."

"You're the last person to be telling us that!" Suga shouted as she left.

She got the girls room and set up her futon. Kiyoko and Yachi were also preparing to sleep as she took her extra blanket out.

"Good night guys," Himari said as she placed her glasses next to her pillow.

"Good night."
