Himari cheered along with the other Karasuno supporters. She looked over at Nekoma and smiled when she heard Kenma thanking Kuroo for teaching him how to play volleyball.
The teams thanked each other and shook hands. Once the captains finished shaking the referees hands, Himari got up and hugged Kuroo.
"You guys did good, Mari."
"You did good too."
Kuroo smiled and patted her back. She let go and smiled at him before wrinkling her nose,
"You're stinky and sweaty."
Kuroo let out a dramatic gasp, "Me? No!"
Himari laughed, but cringed again when he hugged her.
"Here, have some more sweat," he said and tried to hug her again.
"Gross!"
"Alright, alright, I gotta go congratulate my student now."
Himari nodded and approached Kenma. He looked at her and gave her a smile,
"Thanks Mari, for introducing me to volleyball. I had fun."
Himari smiled, "I'm glad. You played really well, I enjoyed watching you."
"Really?"
Himari nodded, "Of course, I always like watching you play."
Kenma smiled fondly at Himari before having to go back to his team for a debrief. Himari went back to her team and listened as they discussed the game.
"You guys played well, so good job. Now, go freshen up."
After the debrief, Himari went out to wait for her team to finish freshening up. As she was standing there, a group of four girls in Nekoma uniforms approached her.
"Uh, can I help you?"
A girl with long, manicured nails stepped up and glared at Himari,
"Yeah, stay away from Kuroo."
Here we go again, Himari thought with a sigh.
"Why would I stay away from Tetsu?"
One of the girls scoffed, "Tetsu, seriously? Who are you to call him by his first name?"
Himari opened her mouth to speak, but was cut off when the first girl grabbed her arm and dug her nails in. It didn't take long until she started bleeding.
"What? Cat got your tongue?"
Himari scowled, "How creative."
Turning the corner, Kuroo, Yaku, and Kai saw the scene. Kuroo immediately rushed in and ripped the older girl away from Himari. Himari yelped, as the girl's nails left her skin.
"Mari, are you okay?" Kuroo asked frantically.
Himari's eyes watered and she shook her head. She hated the sight of blood and her arm bleeding wasn't helping.
Kuroo turned to the girls and glared, "What did you do?"
A girl with long black hair looked at Kuroo with a smirk, "This girl was calling you by nickname based on your first name."
Another girl stepped up, "Yeah, we were just letting her know that you're not interested."
Kai and Yaku stood in front of Himari and glared at the group of girls. Kuroo let out a frustrated sigh and glared. The four girls flinched as he looked at them.
"This girl is my niece. Don't ever go near her again. Also, don't pretend like you know me, I don't even know your names."
The girls' eyes widened and they looked at Himari. They backed up and left in a hurry. Kuroo sighed again and turned to his niece,
