BRYLE'S POV

On our first night together, everything turned out fine. I woke up early the next day and cooked breakfast for her. While I waited for the food to cook in the kitchen, I tidied up myself so that when I returned to the kitchen, the food was ready. I prepared breakfast for Felicity before waking her up in our room. Nagtaka pa siya sa'kin kung paano ko daw nalaman ang schedule niya, syempre tinatanong ko lahat sa best friend niya. I smirked, I want to be the perfect husband in her eyes, so I do everything to impress her.

Hinatid ko siya sa kanyang trabaho pagkatapos ay sinabi ko sakanya na hintayin niya ako dahil sabay kaming mag la'lunch. Ang kaso nga lang ay biglang dumating ang kapatid kong si Brianna at nagpasama siya sa'kin na puntahan ang kliyente niya. Hindi naman ako makatanggi dahil minsan lang naman nagpapakita sa'kin ang kapatid ko. Kaya sa huli ay hindi ko na nga natupad ang sinabi ko kay Felicity. I arrived home late at night, and she wasn't there yet, so I was a bit nervous. I felt she was angry with me, so I quickly messaged her. Good thing, she wasn't mad and just went home to get her car.

I cooked dinner for her as we always do. She also washed our dishes. Sobrang nakokonsensya parin ako sa hindi ko pagsundo sakanya at tingin ko napapansin niya naman na parang kakaiba ang kilos ko. Until we laid down, I couldn't help but hug her. I wanted to explain why I wasn't able to pick her up, I wanted to tell her everything, but it seemed like something was stopping me from doing so. Sa huli ay walang lumabas sa bibig ko kun'di ang salitang 'nothing.'

I ended up looking weirder in her eyes when I told her that.

The next day, I woke up late. When I woke up, Felicity was no longer beside me. Napabalikwas tuloy ako dahil sa bigla akong kinabahan. I thought maybe Felicity was mad at me, that's why she left early. But I was wrong, she didn't actually leave and just prepared breakfast for both of us. Sobrang tuwa yung nararamdaman ko kasi unang beses kong matitikman ang luto niya, gusto ko s'yang yakapin ng mga oras na yun dahil sa sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa effort niya. I also noticed the strange looks she gave me, as if she was really wondering why I seemed different. I still couldn't shake off my guilty conscience for not showing up at the meeting, so I felt awkward around her. Pero hindi ibig sabihin na naiilang ako ay ayoko na s'yang kasama.

In the evening, I arrived home ahead of her. Once again, I felt anxious. We weren't really okay in my eyes, and now this? She wasn't there again, she's probably coming home late once more. Hindi ko mapigilang umalis sa bahay at puntahan siya sa Lee Corp, pero wala na siya doon. Kaya pumunta naman ako sa Blu Art's kung nasaan ang isa pa n'yang kompanya, pero wala din siya doon. I went to her house in case she just went there to get something, but she wasn't there either. I was anxious because I didn't know where else she could be going. I didn't even know where her best friend Aeun lived, so how could I find her? Sinubukan kong tawagan si Felicity, pero hindi siya sumasagot. I also tried calling her best friend Aeun, but she didn't answer either. I didn't know what to do anymore, so I went to Vale's house to ask for advice.

"Anong problema mo, Bryle?" Vale asked me a puzzled question. I took a deep breath and collected my thoughts.

"I can't find Felicity, she's not answering my calls either. She didn't tell me where she was going, so I can't relax." I honestly said, and Vale stared at me as if thinking of the right words to say.

"Ano bang ginawa mo? Nag away ba kayo?" He asked, and I couldn't help but sigh. Felicity and I didn't have a fight, but I felt guilty towards her. I still can't forget that I didn't pick her up. Kaya siguro kinuha na niya yung kotse niya para hindi na siya umasa na susunduin ko siya. Gusto ko mag dabog, nakakainis! Naiinis ako sa sarili ko. I want to scold myself repeatedly, but what would I gain from it afterwards? It already happened, and I can't bring it back.
