CHAPTER 36: He's Into Her (Part 4)
BRYLE'S POV

After our conversation, a smile stretched across my face as Felicity left the room. I waited a few minutes before finally stepping out, I saw Vale from his swivel chair. Obviously, waiting for me to come out and share the details of what I'd discussed with Felicity.

"How was your discussion with your future wife?" Vale teased me.

I smirked as I walked towards the sofa.

"She won't be able to escape me," I replied with a soft laugh. Napaawang naman ang bibig ni Vale dahil sa sinabi ko sakanya.

"Inalok mo agad ng kasal?" he asked in surprise, and I quickly nodded. "How did you convince her?"

"I told her I would help with her, but my condition is that she needs to marry me. She then agreed, she must be desperate for my help," I calmly explained, earning a laugh from Vale.

"Who's the desperate one between the two of you? Ikaw o siya?" Vale jokingly asked, shaking his head, "I think both of you are desperate."

I just smirked at his comment and didn't say anything more.

"Oh, by the way, Bryle. Your sister Brianna said she would just wait for you at your house. It seems like you have somewhere to go," Vale informed me seriously. I became serious too nang marinig ko ang sinabi niya.

I spent hours contemplating why my older sister Brianna needed to see me. Couldn't she have just messaged me about it? Clearly, she didn't want to talk to me over the phone, she must prefer a face-to-face conversation.

I couldn't help but wonder what she had to tell me.

She smiled when her gaze met mine, greeting me,

"Brother," as she stood up to welcome me with a kiss on the cheek. She sat down after greeting me.

"Brianna, what do you need? Is there something wrong?" I asked curiously, taking a seat beside her.

"Accompany me, we'll visit grandfather," she said with a smile, "He misses you and wants to see you." then she added.

"Biglaan ata? Ano bang meron?" Kunot noong tanong ko, natawa siya sa sinabi ko.

"I don't know either, siguro ay may importante rin s'yang kailangang sabihin sa'ting dalawa." she replied. I couldn't find the right words to respond, lost in thought as the conversation shifted. She started sharing stories about her travels to different countries.

We talked for hours before deciding to rest. The next day, my older sister Brianna and I left for Italy to visit the Philippines.

Our whole family, including our grandfather and grandmother on the father side is in the Philippines.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a lively party. It felt strange; I wasn't used to the Philippine climate, and the presence of Filipinos felt different.

"Ciao, nipote." ("Hello, nephew.") My grandmother Costana greeted me. I smiled and returned her greeting. Grandfather Rohelius wasn't present at the gathering; he was probably resting in his room.

"How's Italy? Non hai difficoltà lì?" ("How's Italy? Don't you have trouble there?")

"Niente," ("Nothing,")
