Bryle's POV

"What's your favorite color?" I asked the woman beside me as we waited for the elevator doors to open. A brief silence fell between us before she answered.

"Green." I didn't comment, so she repeated herself, "Green."

I smiled for no reason I couldn't understand why the hell I was smiling. What is it about the color green?

"Matcha, avocado, kiwi, cactus, bamboo, broccoli, watermelon, clover leaf, grass, cucumber, celery, turtle, grasshopper, tree---"

"What the hell are you saying, woman?" I asked her, my voice laced with confusion and a touch of annoyance.

Why did she say that?

"Akala ko hindi mo alam yung color green, kaya sinabi ko lahat ng green things..." She answered me innocently.

Geez. Seriously?

My brow furrowed, and I quickly turned to look at the woman next to me, but she was quickly swallowed by the light....

I slowly opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was the ceiling of my room. I gradually realized that the scene in my mind was just a dream. I sighed before getting out of my bed. I quickly fixed myself before leaving the room.

At this hour, I knew Felicity was still asleep. We had planned to go out today, so I needed to prepare breakfast before we started our plans.

After cooking, I immediately knocked on Felicity's bedroom door. She came out soon after, with a sleepy expression.

"Hey. Let's have breakfast. We have somewhere to go, remember?" I reminded her. She stared at me and eventually smiled slightly.

"Yeah. Sorry kung late akong nagising." She apologized. I shook my head and smiled at her.

"It's okay. Just follow me to the dining room."

"Okay." I didn't wait for Felicity, I went straight to the kitchen and prepared our food.

She arrived shortly after and immediately noticed how I had arranged the food on the table.

"Wow, I feel like I'm at a restaurant because of your plate designs," she joked. I just smiled and watched her start eating.

"Today I'm thinking about taking you to a famous tourist attraction here in Palawan. What do you think? Should we go to Kayangan Lake first?" I asked her with a smile. She paused for a moment and stared at me as if she was still thinking about the place I mentioned.

"Ikaw na lang ang bahala, sa totoo lang mas marami pa akong alam na tourist attractions sa Italy, kaysa sa sarili nating bansa." She explained, seeming a little embarrassed. I smiled faintly.

If she didn't know what I was talking about, that was better, because she'd be more surprised since she had no idea what the place looked like.

"It's fine. Ako na ang mag d'desisyon kung saan man tayo pupunta." I replied.

Felicity didn't answer. She just grinned and continued eating.

After we ate, I gave her time to get ready. Meanwhile, hinanda ko naman ang gagamitin naming sasakyan ngayong araw.

Waiting for her wasn't that long. She came out of the house and approached me. I smiled when our eyes met.

I didn't know why I was smiling, either.

"Hey." I greeted her.

"Sorry, did you wait long?" she apologized. I just smiled at her again before guiding her into my car.

I took a deep breath before looking at Felicity again, "Are you ready?" I asked with a smile.

"Of course, I'm ready." I couldn't help but chuckle softly when I heard her answer. It was obvious she was excited even though she had no idea where we were going first.

"Well then enjoy this day, my lady." I said finally before starting to drive.
