BRYLE'S POV

After finishing my work, I went out of the office to visit Vale. He was busy with his work, staring at his laptop, and didn't even notice when I entered his office.

"Hey," as I caught his attention, he looked at me and gave a surprised reaction.

"Oh Bryle, have you finished your work?" he asked. I nodded and walked towards the sofa to sit down. "By the way, aren't you going to Caje Corp today?"

"Yeah, I already sent an email." I replied and leaned my head on the sofa's backrest, feeling a bit sleepy.

"Darating daw sila Zeke dito sa Italy ah?" says Vale. Napalingon ako sa direksyon niya dahil sa pagtataka. "Hindi mo alam? Nag email siya."

"No, what are they going to do here?" I asked disinterestedly. Vale chuckled.

"They said they have an event to attend, and they also have someone to talk to. I think they will recruit new members for the HGS Clan," Vale explained. I just nodded without further comment.

Since Dad asked me to come here to Italy, I haven't been back to the US. Dad gave me the Caje Corp because he got sick and needed to rest from work.

As I am the only child who cares about the family business, the company was also handed down to me.

I have an older sibling, but I don't know where in the world she went. She loves to travel, and I also stopped asking our parents about the whereabouts of my sister.

After a long afternoon of work, I went home and locked myself in my room. My mind was exhausted from thinking about my next plan for the coming month; I need to have something to present at the board meeting.

I massaged my temples as I pondered the plan. I probably need to get some sleep; maybe I'll come up with a plan tomorrow..

I decided to lie down on my bed after cleaning up and changing clothes. I was lying in bed when I thought of browsing a website that covers various business topics. I smiled when I noticed a familiar name, Zeke Charles Wu. It's something else to see a member of the HGS Clan in such a high rank.

He holds the rank of those with the most successful projects in the field of the business world.

What more can you expect, that's Zeke Charles Wu anyway.

I yawned as I felt drowsy; I need to sleep. I should avoid looking tired tomorrow. I chuckled at the thought and decided to just sleep.

"Signor Caje, ecco i rapporti che aveva richiesto," ("Mr. Caje, here are the reports you requested,") my secretary, Loren, said. "Quelle relative ai due rapporti su Drein e Casio non sono ancora state raccolte." ("Those relating to the two reports on Drein and Casio have not yet been collected.") She slightly bowed to bid me goodbye and then walked out of the office.

I got back to my work, but it was interrupted when my phone suddenly rang.

"Hello?" I answered the call immediately without even checking the ID caller.

["Calix, where are you now? We're already here at Palazzo Manfredi."] I sighed and looked at my wristwatch; it's almost time for the lunch break.

"Nasa CAVA Corp." I say. "Pupuntahan niyo ba ako? Magkita na lang tayo sa restaurant," I suggested.

["Alright,"] Zeke replied before hanging up.

I sighed and continued with my work; I need to finish everything before my annoying friends bother me.
