~I was gone for a while right? 😅😅~

-Start of Chapter 50-

"OK this makes zero sense" Riki says staring into the book.

Jake sighs, "Read it again."

Riki sighs in frustration before looking back into the book

"Beneath the moonless night's gaze,
Where still waters in silence daze,
Near the lake where shadows loom,
A hidden bloom defies the gloom.
A blossom hidden from the eye,
A myth some say, but it's nearby."

~(ɪᴍ ꜱʀʀʏ ᴛʜᴇ ʀɪᴅᴅʟᴇꜱ ʀ ꜱᴏ ꜱʜɪᴛ....)~

"Ok yeah makes no sense." Sunghoon says.

I sigh, "I don't get it. Why on earth would Mum write everything in riddles?!"

Jake leans over, rubbing his chin thoughtfully as he rereads the riddle. "It's definitely a clue, though. It's pointing us somewhere specific. 'Beneath the moonless night's gaze...' That has to mean a night when there's no moon—like a new moon."

"That makes sense.," Taehyun chimes in, eyes narrowing in concentration. "But what about the rest of it? 'Still waters'—that could be a lake, right?"

Jake nods, his brow furrowed in concentration. "Yeah, 'still waters' could mean a lake. But it says 'near the lake where shadows loom.' That makes it sound like it's hidden in a place that's hard to find—maybe somewhere dark or overgrown."

Taehyun leans closer, tapping the page lightly. "A blossom hidden from the eye... It sounds like the flower is almost invisible, something people don't notice because they don't believe it's real. Maybe it only appears at a specific time, like when the moon is completely gone from the sky."

"Woah woah woah! Ya'll are going waaaaaay  too fast." Riki says, raising his hand up trying to make them stop.

Heeseung look weirdly at Jake, "Yep Ni-ki is right. Sloooow dowwwn."

I notice Taehyun subtly roll his eyes.

Beomgyu suddenly perks up, his eyes widening as if he's just remembered something. "Wait wait wait, I think... I think Mum used to say this to us sometimes before bed. She said there was a flower that only appeared when the world was darkest, and it was said to be a myth because no one ever sees it."

Everyone falls silent for a moment, letting Beomgyu's words sink in.

"So, it's a flower that only blooms under a new moon... Moonlit Lilies! They are a myth and are said to grow near water bodies and are only visible on new moons!" Jake summarizes, a spark of realization in his eyes. "If this is what we're looking for, we need to find a place that fits those clues."

Sunghoon crosses his arms, deep in thought. "But where? There are so many lakes... and so many forests."

"Maybe it's not just any lake," Taehyun suggests. "It could be a specific one that's known for being eerie or mysterious—one that people don't go to often, which is why they haven't noticed the flower."

Beomgyu nods, his voice soft but confident. "Mum always made it sound like it was close to where we grew up. Somewhere we might have overlooked because we never thought it was real."
