-Start of Chapter 106-

"What?!"

Sunghoon's voice is sharp, his eyes wide with shock. He looks between me and Jungwon, searching for some kind of explanation.

"What visions?" His tone lowers, laced with something unreadable. "What is Jungwon talking about, My Lady?"

I freeze.

I don't know how to answer.

Jungwon does it for me.

"She's been having visions for months," he says, his voice disturbingly calm. His eyes flicker toward Sunghoon. "She's been seeing the future"

A heavy silence falls over us.

Jake takes a step back, looking at me with something between concern and disbelief. Sunghoon, however, doesn't move.

He just stares at me.

"Why?" His voice is quieter now, almost hesitant. "Why didn't you tell us?"

I open my mouth, but nothing comes out.

Why didn't I tell them?

Because I wasn't sure? Because I didn't want to burden them? Because a part of me was terrified of what these visions meant?

Sunghoon exhales sharply, shaking his head. He looks at me again, but this time... there's something different in his expression.

"Do you really not trust us at all, My Lady?"

I flinch.

His words cut deeper than I expect them to.

Sunghoon waits for an answer.

I don't have one.

The warmth in his eyes flickers out. His face goes cold, his expression unreadable.

"I guess you don't, then."

His voice is emotionless. Detached.

Before I can say anything, he walks off, his posture tense, his movements rigid with frustration.

I take a step forward, my heart twisting. "Sunghoon, wait—"

"Leave him," Jungwon says firmly.

I stop.

Jungwon watches Sunghoon's retreating figure with a knowing look. "He has every right to be mad."

I hesitate, my gaze flickering between Jungwon and Sunghoon.

But before I can decide what to do—

Sunghoon vanishes.

Just like that.

Gone.

A lump forms in my throat, but before I can dwell on it, a sigh pulls me back to reality.

Jake runs a hand through his hair. "Well... that could've gone better."

I don't answer.

Instead, Jake looks at me, something thoughtful crossing his face.

"Do you know how to control your powers?" he asks.

I shake my head slowly. "They just... come to me. Randomly. In flashes."
