-Start of Chapter 68-

Sunghoon's POV

I'm sitting in my room staring at the empty desk in front of me.

Did Y/N get the flowers?...

Did it make her smile, even a little? Or did she just read it, shrug, and set it aside? I'd been confident enough when writing it, but now... well, the anticipation is harder to shake off.

A soft knock breaks my thoughts, and the door creaks open to reveal Dohyun grinning ear to ear as he steps inside. His cheeks are a bit red from running, his nose still sniffling from the hay fever. He catches his breath and stands tall, almost like he's delivering some important royal decree.

"She said... she likes all the colours of the rainbow!" Dohyun announces with a big smile, clearly proud to be the one delivering the message.

All colours of the rainbow...

The words hit me like a warm wave, and I can't keep from grinning myself. So, she liked it. I let out a breath I hadn't realized I was holding and lean back, feeling lighter than I have in days.

"Thanks Dohyun" I can't help but ruffle his hair. "Did she... say anything else?"

He shakes his head, then leans in as though he's about to share a secret. "Nope! But she did keep smiling. A lot. Just like that."

I try to suppress the rush of happiness that swells up, but it's useless. I can almost see her now, holding the flowers, reading the note—smiling.

"Alright, Dohyun" I say, turning to him with a new spark of excitement. "Tomorrow, I think we need to send her... just red roses. A bouquet just as grand, but all roses this time."

Dohyun's eyes widen, and he grins, clearly delighted to be part of this mission. "Only roses? All red?"

"Exactly. But not just any bouquet" I add, feeling the plan start to form in my mind. "The best florist in the kingdom, top quality, perfectly arranged. I'll need you to help pick them out, Dohyun. You think you can do it?"

He puffs out his little chest, nodding enthusiastically. "Of course, Your Highness! I know the best place for flowers!" He gives me a proud smile, clearly thrilled to be on board.

"Good" I say, clapping him on the shoulder. "And every day, we'll change it up. Tomorrow, all red. Then orange, then yellow... But each bouquet has to be perfect."

Dohyun's face lights up, and he salutes like a little soldier. "I'll be ready early to go to the florist with you!"

"Excellent. Meet me here at sunrise." I smirk to myself as he scurries out of the room, already buzzing with excitement.

Y/N's POV

The library is quiet, filled with the comforting smell of old books and warm sunlight streaming through tall windows. I'm lost in the pages of a worn novel, my finger tracing over the faded words, when a familiar sniffle catches my attention.

Looking up, I see Dohyun, standing just inside the doorway, hidden behind yet another enormous bouquet—this time, every single bloom is a deep, velvety red. It's an ocean of rich, velvety red roses, each bloom full and vibrant, radiating an intoxicating fragrance.
