-Start of Chapter 64-

"You'll be following the mountain pass here." Suho says, his finger tracing the line on the map, "setting up tents along this trail to keep a steady pace. We'll need to make camp at least 2 times before reaching the lake and preferably 1 back."

Beomgyu groans dramatically. "3 nights in a tent? I can barely last one."

Taehyun chuckles. "It's not like your feather pillow's coming with you, so get used to it."

"Jungwon are you sure you don't our army there?" Suho asks, eyebrows furrowed, "Blackwood forest is not the safest of all places. There are many wild animals that roam at night."

Jungwon's expression stays stoic "Don't worry. We can protect ourselves, thank you for the offer though."

I barely notice Sunghoon stepping closer until he leans down, his voice barely a whisper beside me. "My Lady-"

But before he can finish, a shrill voice cuts through the moment.

"Sunghoon, oh my gosh! I've looked for you everywhere!"

I feel a pang of irritation as Sumin struts toward us, her entrance turning every head and dropping the mood like a stone. Sunghoon's jaw tenses, his momentarily warm expression fading as Sumin makes her way over, ignoring the disapproving stares and rolling eyes from the rest of the group.

Suho's gaze darkens, his voice cold. "Sumin, where are your manners? And why are you here? You know this area is restricted."

Sumin pouts, ignoring Suho's scolding as she slides herself between Sunghoon and me, shoving me backward in the process. I stumble slightly, forced to take a step back, anger bubbling up as I straighten.

"I can see my fiancé whenever I want wherever I want!" Sumin says, latching onto Sunghoon's arm with a possessive grip, her gaze sliding over me dismissively as if I'm some unwelcome distraction.

I try to steady my breathing, fists clenching slightly at my sides. Sunghoon shifts uncomfortably, giving her a tired look. "Sumin, this isn't the time" he mutters, clearly uncomfortable with her clinging display.

But she's either oblivious or just doesn't care. "Oh, but it's always time for us, isn't it, darling?" she says, her voice dripping with sweetness as she presses herself closer, her eyes flashing in my direction with a look that feels like a challenge.

Darling?!... Bitch I'll knock those teeth out and slice off that filthy tongue so you won't even have the ability to ask for mercy!

Suho doesn't even blink as he folds his arms and stares Sumin down, his voice cutting through her fluttering attempts at charm. "I don't care, Sumin. You're not supposed to be in the strategy room. This is off-limits for you. And you know that."

But Sumin seems undeterred, tossing her hair over her shoulder as she steps further inside, craning her neck to look over the maps and plans spread out in front of us. "Oh, it's not even that serious, oppa." she says breezily. "I mean, they're just going to the Blackwood Forest, right? To... collect some rocks or something?"

I bite my tongue, careful not to let any expression slip. ENHYPEN and TXT had agreed not to share our true reason for entering the forest with anyone outside our group. But Sumin seems utterly uninterested in discretion as she squints at the tent plans.
