Y/n POV

I slid into the booth beside Hoseok and Taehyung, feeling a flutter in my chest.

Hoseok's eyes met mine, and for a moment, I saw a flicker of something - worry, maybe? But it vanished, replaced by his signature smile.

"Hey, guys!" I exclaimed, trying to shake off the feeling. We chatted and laughed, enjoying our brunch.

Taehyung cracked jokes about K-dramas. "You know, the ones where the lead always gets amnesia," he teased.

Hoseok chuckled. "And then falls in love with their doctor." I giggled. "Or the evil stepmother always has a hidden agenda."

Our laughter filled the café.

As we finished our meal, I asked, "Hey, Hoseok, everything okay? You seemed distracted yesterday." Hoseok's expression faltered for a split second. "Yeah, just family stuff," he replied, his voice light.

But I saw the tension in his shoulders. Just then, an idea struck me.

"Hey, guys! My Jinnie's been bugging me to host game night. Want to come over?"

Hoseok's face lit up. "Count me in."

Taehyung grinned. "Sounds like fun."

I smiled. "Awesome! I'll text Jinnie to set it up."

As we parted ways, I walked alongside Hoseok to our respective cars.

"See you at my place, 6 pm?" I confirmed.

Hoseok nodded, his eyes crinkling. "Wouldn't miss it."

With a smile, I watched him drive away.

6 PM sharp.

I glanced at the clock for what felt like the hundredth time. Jinnie lounged on the couch, controller in hand.

"Relax, princess. He'll be here," Jin said, not looking up from his game.

Tae sat beside him, munching on chips. "Besides, Hoseok's always fashionably late," Tae added with a grin.

Joonie walked in, sipping a beer. "Any sign of our guest?" he asked.

I smiled patiently. "Should be here any minute."

Just then, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" I exclaimed, jumping up.

I opened the door to find Hoseok standing on my porch, flashing his signature smile. "Hey!" he said, holding up a bag. "Brought snacks."

My heart skipped a beat.

"Come on in."

As Hoseok entered, my brothers welcomed him with cheers and teasing.

"Finally, the king of procrastination arrives," Jin joked. Namjoon chuckled. "Time to put your gaming skills to shame, Hoseok."

Hoseok laughed. "Bring it on."

We spent the evening laughing, competing in games, and sharing stories.

Jinnie cracked his usual daddy jokes.

"Why did the gamer quit his job?" he asked.

"Why?" Tae replied. "Because he wanted to level up in life!" Jinnie exclaimed. We erupted into laughter.
