Y/n POV
Taehyung pulled back, his eyes sparkling with determination. "Now, let's focus on the sleepover. I'll bring my favorite movies and snacks."
I grinned, feeling a sense of normalcy return. "Sounds perfect."
As we finalized plans, my mind drifted to Hoseok.
What would he think if he knew Taehyung and I were having a sleepover?
Would he care?
I pushed those thoughts aside, focusing on the comforting familiarity of my friendship with Taehyung.
Later that evening, Taehyung arrived at my doorstep, armed with snacks and movies.
We settled in, laughing and chatting like old times.
But as the night wore on, my thoughts inevitably returned to Hoseok.
Taehyung noticed my distant gaze and gently asked, "You okay?"
I nodded, forcing a smile.
Taehyung didn't press, but his understanding eyes said he knew.
As we prepared for bed, Taehyung's expression turned serious.
"Y/n, don't think about it too much, okay?" he said softly. "Everything is going to be okay."
I nodded, feeling a lump form in my throat.
Taehyung's words were a balm to my soul.
With that, he placed a gentle kiss on my forehead.
"Sleep tight," he whispered.
We cuddled each other, our arms wrapped tightly around one another.
The warmth of his body, the comfort of his presence, slowly lulled me to sleep.
In Taehyung's embracing arms, I found a fleeting peace.
Tomorrow would bring new challenges.
But for now, surrounded by Taehyung's unwavering support, I slept.
_____________
The next morning, sunlight streamed through my window, illuminating the peaceful atmosphere. Taehyung was already awake, sitting on the couch with a warm smile. "Morning," he said, his voice gentle. I smiled back, feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep. "Morning," I replied, stretching.
As we began our morning routine, I couldn't help but think about our conversation the night before. Taehyung's words still lingered in my mind, especially his advice to give Hoseok a chance. I wasn't sure if I was ready, but a part of me wanted to explore the possibility.
"You leaving soon?" I asked Taehyung as we walked to the door. He nodded, his expression turning serious. "Got a meeting with Jungkook." I nodded, feeling a pang of envy. Their relationship was so effortless, so full of love.
As we stood at the door, Taehyung turned to me with a gentle gaze. "Y/n?" he said, his voice soft. "Remember what I said last night." I raised an eyebrow, knowing exactly what he was referring to. "About not overthinking?" Taehyung nodded, his eyes sparkling. "And something else."
"What?" I asked, my heart skipping a beat. "Give Hoseok a chance," Taehyung replied, his voice filled with conviction. I felt a flutter in my chest, unsure if I was ready to take that leap. But Taehyung's words echoed in my mind, tempting me to explore the unknown.
Taehyung handed me a warm cup of coffee, breaking the silence. "For you," he said, his eyes sparkling. I took a sip, savoring the rich flavor. "Thanks," I said sincerely. Taehyung grinned, his expression carefree. "No problem."
