Y/n POV
Seven years had passed since I left Korea, and my life in Los Angeles had been a whirlwind of success. As the founder and CEO of Celestia Group, I had built my company from the ground up, driving innovation and growth.
Now, I was poised to take the next step. Celestia Group was expanding to Seoul, and I had decided to oversee the new branch personally.
As I sat in my office, overlooking the LA skyline, mixed emotions swirled within me. Excitement for the new challenge wrestled with nostalgia for the life I had built here. Apprehension about returning to Korea lingered, memories of Hoseok still etched in my mind.
But I had long moved on, focusing on my company and building a fulfilling life. It was time to pass the torch.
I picked up the phone and dialed my cousin Sungwoon's number.
"Hyo," he answered, his warm voice familiar.
"Sungwoon, it's time," I said, a smile spreading across my face.
"What's happening?" he asked.
"I'm relocating to Seoul to oversee the new Celestia Group branch," I explained.
"And I want you to take over the LA branch," I continued.
There was a pause on the other end of the line.
Then, "Y/n, I'm honored," Sungwoon said.
"You're the best person for the job," I assured him.
We spent the next hour discussing transition plans, strategies, and details.
As I hung up, a sense of closure washed over me.
This chapter was ending.
A new one awaited.
In Seoul.
I stood up, gazing out the window as Los Angeles unfolded before me.
Soon, Seoul's vibrant streets would be my canvas.
I was ready.
As I gazed out the window, my mind wandered to the new challenges ahead.
Establishing Celestia Group's presence in Seoul.
Navigating Korea's dynamic business landscape.
Reconnecting with old friends and acquaintances.
And, perhaps, facing the past.
Hoseok's face flickered in my memory, but I pushed it aside.
Focus on the present.
On the future.
My personal secretary and college friend, Yoongi, knocked on the door.
"CEO, it's time to leave for the airport," he said, his efficient tone unwavering.
"Thank you, Yoongi," I replied, gathering my belongings.
He handed me a folder containing critical documents and my boarding pass.
"Everything's in order, ma'am," Yoongi assured me.
As we left the office, Yoongi walked beside me.
Once we were alone in the car, his demeanor relaxed.
"Hey, Y/n, ready for this new adventure?" Yoongi asked, smiling.
"I am," I replied, smiling back.
"You've been instrumental in making this transition smooth."
