Y/n POV

As I walked back after dropping Hoseok to his next class, a sudden urge to pee took over. I hastened my pace, rushing towards the bathroom. Relieved, I slipped into an empty cubicle and took care of my business.

After washing my hands, my gaze drifted to the mirror. That's when I saw Jiyeon's reflection, her smirk twisting her face.

My heart sank. I turned to face her, trying to sound calm. "Jiyeon, what are you doing? Let me go." But my voice trembled.

One of her minions had locked the door, trapping me. Jiyeon sauntered closer, her eyes gleaming with malice. "You think you're special, don't you, Y/N?" she sneered.

Her hands shot out, grabbing my shoulders. She slammed me against the sink, my hip bones crashing against the porcelain. Pain exploded through my side.

Jiyeon's grip tightened, her nails digging into my skin. "You think Hoseok and Taehyung care about you?" she spat. Her fist connected with my stomach, knocking the wind out of me.

I doubled over, gasping. Jiyeon's minions joined in, their blows raining down on me.

A punch to my face.

A kick to my ribs.

I stumbled, falling to the floor.

Jiyeon's foot connected with my side, sending waves of agony through me. "Stop!" I begged, tears streaming down my face.

But Jiyeon's laughter echoed, mingling with the sound of flesh hitting flesh.

Everything blurred.

Pain consumed me.

I lost count of the blows.

My vision faded.

My eyes were going blur...

That's when I saw the door kicked open by a boy. He rushed towards me, his face twisted in anger.

He picked me up, cradling me in his arms. I lost my consciousness, but I heard his voice. "You're not less than a bitch. How can you hurt someone this worse? I don't care who you are, but I don't want you to hurt anyone here, especially her."

His words faded into darkness.

Everything went black.

I drifted in and out of consciousness, pain throbbing through my body. The beeping of machines and faint whispers surrounded me.

A gentle hand held mine. Tae's worried face came into focus. "Y/N... oh, thank goodness you're awake," he whispered. Tears streamed down his face.

I tried to speak, but my voice was barely audible. "Tae..." I whispered. His grip on my hand tightened. "I'm here. I won't leave you."

Memories flooded back: Jiyeon's attack, the boy's rescue.

"Who... saved me?" I asked. His expression turned grim. "Sungmin said it was a boy from our school. He's new here, transferred recently."

My curiosity piqued. "A new student?" I repeated. He nodded. "No one knows much about him. He kept to himself until... until he saved you." My mind whirled.

Who was this mysterious savior?

And why did he intervene?

"Tae?" I whispered. "Yes?" "Where's Hoseok?" I asked. His expression turned cold. "Don't talk to him, Y/N. Don't even think about him." My heart skipped a beat.
